The synth part makes it probably the most dramatic scene in the whole film, and I cannot believe they cut it out of the soundtrack. Wtf. It's so emotional, contemplative and determined.

I relate to Rapunzel and Anna for their naïveté, Mulan for her devotion to family and identity struggle, Ariel and Moana for their desire for adventure and freedom, Elsa for her isolation and loneliness, etc. Each princess touches on a different part of our personalities. The existence of one princess doesn’t diminish the existence of another, in fact they can even compliment each other.

This sounds stupid but I had a stroke back in 2018. I was paralysed for 4 hours. I thought that this was it. I was put on bed rest for 4 months and I had no friends as they ditched me and they went out on the town and not invite me. I told my friend what happened and she went : “oh but you owe me money”. I’m fine now and recovered well actually very well, I can walk, run, do normal things again. For months I had to re teach myself the simple easy things. I had physio sessions, 4 times a week and water physio. My confidence went down hill and I had gained a lot of weight. My BP went super low and my weight before it happened was 8 stone 6 to 5 stone 3 in 2 days. Dropped massively. I had no friends no boyfriend and all I had was my family. Years later from it happening I was told because of it happening there was a less than 5% of me being able to conceive. I was devastated as I’m such a maternal woman. Now ? I’m working out, I’m engaged and we’re getting married in 1 year and we’ve brought a house together. He’s so supportive and kind and loving. After I listened to this song it gave me hope and determination for me to get my life back together.

I still think it’s cool that Disney created a category in its princess requirements just for her so she could be an official Disney princess
