Where you source the untreated redwood sawdust? Seems like a good mulch for the fact that it holds water and won’t breakdown super quickly

Why not grow avocado tree in full sun, but put the tree under shade? a hoop house?

I do plant trees in full sun and have thrown the half shade cloth over them. I did one like that in San Jose, California. My phone was dying. All I got was a YT short. The agricultural hoop tunnel is an expirement. I'm documenting how it performs vs. grown in full sun. Sometimes, our winters and springs are too cold, and fruitset is minimal. I think the hoop house can help. I don't know for sure yet. Stay tuned for updates. Thanks for watching ✌️🥑
