Dob enlisting everyone's help (and everyone failing) to break his own arm just to sell to the town they had a tough fight is one of the funniest DnD moments I've ever listened to.

As a side note; Dob also trying to find ways to spend or throwaway any and all monetary value that could benefit the guild is hilarious, frustrating and puzzling. I mean, is his distrust of educational institutions due to the fact many a person is in debt, and therefore basically throwing money away? Or is it just because he grew up without any financial sense?

@@macgyver42563 I think it's more the second since fortunately (?) going into debt for one's education is... not that common... or at least I used to pay around €500 per year for uni. Could be more, could be less, depending on your tax bracket 😅

@@macgyver42563 Well, it started as a gag in Fishmas Carol, but I he does make a valid point in a later adventure (I forget which one though) in which he points out that they rarely actually use money and often just resort to killing and stealing anyways

I've been watching these in order. By this campaign, Johnny had clearly realized he could create a scenario with no conflict or stakes whatsoever, and the Guild would immediately create utter nonsensical chaos on their own. He was not disappointed.

Throughout the second half of this Oxventure, the town crier sounds like an adult version of "King" Lynton of Dunbridge. Town Crier: "That troll took our livestock because *I* said so!!!!" Lynton of Dunbridge: "i'M The kiNg BeCaUsE *I* sAiD SO!!!!!!" They must be related somehow.

producer John tell Luke to stop being a Dob and ether move back away from the mic or drop his mic level by 10 dbs. He should be 6 to 12 inches from the mic not 2. He sounds like he is eating the mic and is distorted from not only being to close to the mic but screaming into it. Why did no one catch this 2 years ago while streaming?

Also kind of amusing that you would think to bother commenting on something from two years ago and acknowledging that... for something so pedantic that was part of likely a setup long dead with how many times they have changed for various streams. Plus his mic is about 6 inches from his face anyway. it's not the problem and it's not that bad anyway.
