They need orange collars if their that tame. They’ll walk up to hunters and it won’t end well

Very beautiful creatures. They look like they're very timid. They're so cute. I wonder if these Mule deer love being petted, while they are hand fed. I adore these kind of animals.🙏✝️
@Kurt77777
@Kurt77777 Жыл бұрын
I think that that can be answered with one simple question? Do you like to be petted? I don't think any animal likes to be petted. If they are tame or domesticated, then I think that they like to be lovingly touched. I don't pet dogs, I give them a gentle massage. I press hard behind the neck. They seem to like it.

I've walked with wild animals for over 40 years, deer for over 20..all deer have an insatiable curiosity..like the curiosity killed the cat..they ise it to gain understanding of routines, social aspects, food, threats, etc in their rather subtle but complicated lives. They'll check everything, everyone out till they feel its unsafe to do so.. hunters quite often act like bedded deer, quietly set, watchful.. deer walk up to them Plenty of vids on internet This Momma & little ones are enjoying the high value nutrition & peace..Mule deer are bigger than my whitetail! They are all beautiful though!

@@lewisvogel466 I just got done ruffling my Zoe's little.Luna..she & brother Rascal are so big now.. but Momma Zoe is the chunker, she has a lot of mass, she was a runt triplet when she was born in 2016.. We only eat the tourists, my guys have been family & neighbors for over 20 years.. possibly no greater loyalty than from a deer..(or a dog!) @@lewisvogel466 I work @ a church, my Zoe was born @ my house where there was similar deer nursery friendly habitat, she claimed the adjacent territory where I worked as her nursery/territory. I'd worked with her matriarchy on street/vehicle smarts & human activity, deer are curious by survival need of knowledge, & they get pretty smart if they have opportunity to engage.. I love working alongside them, we can communicate intent & understand each other in processes, very vocational, operant conditioning..sorta like being in military, from the tactical awareness & sightline watch, stealth, defensive focus, and repeating routine till muscle memory..I was never in service as military but worked training support roles with & for and other "Civilian National Service" I'd love for there to be a way to bring veterans into the world I know now with my deer.. very leaceful, restorative, healing effects..& once you come to understand them, you see their small unit tactics and tightness. When you get to see individuals develop, its amazing..better friends than any pet, they are very serious. So much like us, yet also so alien to their ways & needs. I'm so blessed to actually SEE them now..not the fleeting lack of understanding, but to have them bed down around me, trust me as the watch..if I sit down, someone usually pops up, takes over. I love when they come in as I'm about to mow, I'll tell Zoe the lot order, shell adjust the family out of those lots, she'll come over , check, waiting when I'm almost done w/one she wants, OR.. shell "ask"("You gonna let me have it?") for a lot first..she "adjusted" my order to her liking. They help hedge control, weeding, and window spiderwebs too 🥰👍

If your on private property you can post no trespassing signs every 10 feet. It has to be 10 feet to make it legal. You can also go to the local camping and ammo store and put signs up in the store and talk to the owner and tell him there is no hunting in your area. I hope the helps.

How will you protect them from getting killed by a hunter now that you made them think humans are a friendly source of sweet treats? SMDH. Unless you are one of those rare people with a massive private reserve that can keep such species safe from poachers and legal hunters all you're doing is interfering with their natural life preserving caution around humans. This was a selfish indulgence in an "aw cute moment" for social media which will likely cost those deer down the road. 👎
