Idli recipe Rice 3.5 or 4 ( idli or boiled rice if available) Urad dal 1 cup Soak for 2 hrs and grind in grinder. Ferment for 8 hrs or overnight. Steam in idli pan for 10 min. Coconut chutney Shredded coconut Chutney dal ( chana dal) , coriander leaves Imli little Salt, chilly to taste . Grind . Garnish with curry leaves, splutter rai and roast urad dal in oil. Saambaar: 2 cups toor dal boiled . Onion , tomato, drum stick/ small onion , 🥕 cut pieces for vegetables. Use saambaar powder with salt imli ground tomato chanadal red chilly Dania, pumpkin if possible etc.. add required water dal and boil with hing. Enjoy 😍
