"The Nest" tree house designed by Will Beilharz of ArtisTree is located at Cypress Valley just outside of Austin, Texas. The Nest is an intricate tree house built on several levels and in multiple trees. It's used as a vacation rental on the property.
Will has a passion for tree house design, and "The Nest" was one of his first creations. He wanted to build a Swiss Family Robinson-esk tree house, where families could call to each other from multiple levels. One awesome feature with The Nest tree house? You can actually take a zip line tour which ends at the tree house!
The Nest tree houses features two bedrooms and one bathroom. There are multiple staircases and swinging bridges. In the summer, the lush landscape and wildlife create an jungle-like backdrop! The Nest even features a butterfly hatchery and living roof! We think this has to be the COOLEST TREE HOUSE EVER!
Make sure you check out The Lofthaven tree house tour! Another tree house designed by Will - • Romantic Yurt Tree Hou...

Swiss Family Robinson was my favorite at Disney as a child, this comes the closest to actually living it! I love the circular pods & the woodwork! The zip lines are just amazing & it seems to have all the comforts (air & heat) without giving up the feel of it being a treehouse & still having biodegradable soap, running on solar, & my absolute favorite from Disney, the waterwheel!, etc. I'm sure it looks AMAZING in spring/summer.

Why do people have to be like that, especially on KZbin. You do realize we can read the comments on our own videos right? Would you say something like that to someone's face? Or is it just the the fact there's a screen in between that makes you say useless mean crap?

Cool technique on the master bedroom wall, where the wood begins to separate, fragment and then just vanishes altogether. The devil is in the details and you guys have excellent eyes for the details. Beautiful and inviting interiors. And... I have watched two of your videos where you get assaulted in the comment section for being a flirt. I can't blame you, she is a beautiful woman with very cool tastes and like minded appreciation of thoughtfully designed structures. ;)

So freaky/cool. I came across my first video of a treehouse just prior to this one and commented that it was my Dream House inspired by seeing The Swiss Family Robinson as a kid. 40 years ago! I found this video next. NEVER let your dreams die! I want mine to be on a working farm. Can anyone recommend a video that shows that? 🍌🙆‍♀️ LL

The trees are dead - Even if great care is taken to preserve the trunk, in time the roots will rot, especially in light of the high ground water level. And when the roots go, you can't count on the trunk to stay erect. You spent a great deal of time, money, and sweat building something that can't last. I live in a forest in the Midwest, and in very high winds, dead trees fall over all the time. Live ones, too, when the ground is saturated. It can't be any different in Texas.

+ROGER2095 WTF are you talking about The metal support arch over the trees is to support them as well as create a canopy. they just peeled the bark off to be able to treat and preserve the wood underneath. please STFU.

I like the concept, however outside it looks chaotic and lifeless, mind you I am from NZ so our environment is very different but it reminds me of a tree grave yard. The inside is lovely though. You interested parties are very welcome to the host as I am unsure of the appeal 😊.

I may have missed him saying, but why did they debark the trees in the middle??? I’ve been in a few dozen tree houses, and none of them were skinned like that. 😥 It feels like it is to keep the tree from growing any wider where the building is. Doesn’t seem like a kind way to build.

Swiss Family Robinson has been filmed at Trinidad Tobago. The association of both environments sounds absurd. No 'tree house', no 'jungle', just rocks, that are beautiful, except under wrong names. People click videos suggested by it's names. The etc. is misleding propaganda. Sorry. Just forget. Bye-bye.
