omg. I only learned how to talk like a receptionist. But not how to use the freaking phone. They just showed her pushing random buttons. How is this supposed to help me???

You should always ask the customer/client if they mind being place on hold for a moment..not just tell them you're going to place them on hold. Upon returning to the call, you should always thank them for holding. .then proceed with the call.

Covergirl You are absolutely correct. I would often pause the video and ask my students how they would improve the interaction. Your answer is the right one.

That's a Nortel 7324 set. A real work-horse of the previous 2 decades. Good stuff! Here are the Norstar Commands (if you don't have pre-programmed buttons): Transfer - Feature 70 Page - Feature 630 Conference - Feature * 3

She certainly looks efficient, but could not see which buttons she pushed and could not hear what she was saying.

That's true Phyllis. I've had that feedback from my students too. If I do a remake of this video I will try to make a voice-over description of what Amy is doing.

A little more explanation and clarity would be appreciated ! Camera was blurred the entire time she was busy pushing some random buttons.

I like how she's not actually typing HAHA
@nmglifelove7 жыл бұрын
I told her to do that so that the sound wouldn't come through the voice over. It is funny;) She was a good sport and is actually an excellent typist.

I haven't learnt anything...the camera should have been on the phone the entire time. I was guessing the entire time what she was doing. And if this video is to help someone who has no experience with pbx system, this -without having a similar replica in front of them- helped 0%

is it american english or british? a little confused. someone let me know?
@nmglifelove8 жыл бұрын
It is Canadian English which is a blend of American and British English; similar accent to Americans but spelling and pronunciation like British.

Waste of time once you start taking calls and PAN OUT while she's pushing buttons. Video either just shows the phone sitting there without anyone pushing buttons or shows her pushing random buttons without any explanation.

People still use these archaic things?! You could just use that computer to do the same thing and save money! What are businesses thinking these days!?
