Multi Species Bottom Fishing Morehead City (Lobster on Hook and Line!!!)

Really fun day bottom fishing out of Morehead City NC. Grouper was the target species and we got a couple, but the slow bite meant it was time to fish for some other creatures. Plenty of life around and plenty of action!

Put fish in a basket for a few minutes while fishing is good rather than opening and closing the cooler all day long

How many feet and leader size for the jig?

Think I was using 50lb fluoro, I'd say around 3' is fine for most situations but I'm not an expert on jigging.
