This is a great breakdown of the knot, and how to 'move' it. The largest Mathew walker I was able to pull off was 8 strands. It came out great, but I'll never do that many again. Don't know if someone mentioned this, but the Mathew walker knot is the only knot named after a person. little trivia for you.

Thanks for the comment! Funnily enough, as I was making this video I was thinking to myself about how cool it is to have a knot named after yourself. Didn't know it was the only one! Thanks for that tidbit!

Looks like that mint soft crunchy candy you get from fancy restaurants or grammas candy bowl. The red and white spiral ones.

I like this a lot. I’ve got a Damned Designs poison bottle bead that’s been sitting in a drawer because I couldn’t decide what to do with it. Now I know. Thanks!

lol after you got that finished, I thought, if he had used red cord instead of green, it would have looked like those little peppermint candies… 😂

Hey man, I really enjoy your tutorials. I have an idea for some content. Make cobra bracelets or even key chains and use micro cord to make names. There are alot of names for sure but well, a lot of content 😁

This is great. That knot seems difficult to me (total amateur!) 👍

Thanks and yes, this one is a bit tougher for those just starting out. You may want to tie the two stranded version a few times before moving onto this 4 stranded one.

Whenever I make an eight-strand Matthew Walker knot, one of the strands looks wonky and half-disappears behind the adjacent strands. In one of your Matthew Walker knot tutorials, you mention sliding one of the strands over the other, but I can't find the video, nor can I remember (or figure out, rather) which strand it is. If you slide a strand over the wonky one, it just moves the problem to the next set of strands, and so forth. It's driving me nucking futs because I *know* how to create this knot and have excecuted it perfectly in the past. If you know what I've been babbling about and can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful to know for the sake of paracording, and for the sake of my ever loving sanity.
