Multi-Vehicle Accident, M5 Worcester - Police, Fire & Ambulances Responding & on-scene

Just after 13:00 on the 26th July 2019, the emergency services were called to a multi-vehicle accident with two casualties on the M5 Northbound in Worcestershire. Emergency vehicles can be seen responding and operating at the scene, with West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service, and Highways England in attendance.

4:00 - Firefighters begin to make safety checks on the damaged cars and assist with treating the injured passengers
4:21 - Traffic officers reposition cars while continuing the road clean-up
5:14 - Fire engine respositions to the hard shoulder
5:30 - HWFRS Worcester Crews arrive onscene to assist with making the vehicles safe
6:18- Highways Agency Shogun is parked to block off the motorway after a car tries to sneak through traffic
6:31 - Road is reopened, a full view of the scene and emergency services clearing up, including a BRAND NEW BMW 525 Saloon of the West Mercia Police Traffic Unit.
