So where I should start? Some of you know that my father died last year.
Time really dulls the senses, but the feeling of losing someone important remains with you forever. And I find the best way to find a use for my pain and the remaining emptiness inside is to make this video.
I KNOW, I KNOW that there are a lot of beautifully shown father-daughter relationships in movies and TV-shows BUT I chose THESE stories and THESE characters because THEY are the best to show the relationship between me and my dad. It was mess.
He was a complicated man, it's a long story and I don't want to bore you with it. For many years, the resentment of a little girl lived in me, she could not understand why dad, whom she loved more than anyone in the world, considered him her ideal, just left her life in an instant and never came back.
Only many years later, on my 25th birthday, I found the strength to forgive him, begin able to communicate and understand him and his motives. I am so happy that I was able to spend the last year of his life next to him. Forgave him. And because of this, losing him for the second time in my life, was not easy for me. These were long months of quiet hysteria and nervous breakdowns. I feel better now, and I hope that after I share this video with you, I will feel a little better.

No bond tie or link is ever simple, familial ones even more so, as we get older we just embrace that at some point. On screen the ones more strainded are often not shown the proper time. Great editing.
