Dear Vahid, thanks for great videos. Please could you help me clarify why model fits in CFA and multig SEM are different. It is great in CFA and quite poor in multigr SEM. Does that mean that I should move from SEM to another analysis, or..? I went through the literature but could not find how to proceed further. Thanks

Thank you for the Video! Is a multigroup analysis possible with 3 or more groups and Is there something I need to consider?

Thank you for this great video. Could you also prepare a video on how to report these multi-group analysis results? If you do, it will be excellent educational content.

You can consult with papers that report measurement invariance. The following papers might be of some help: 1. www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0191491X19301452 2. link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs12144-021-01579-w

Hello, Thank you for this. I'm having trouble; the "structural weights" option is already checked and seems to be deactivated (grayed out). It's not appearing in the output file. I did it yesterday and it worked perfectly, but now when I click on multi-group analysis, some options including "structural weights" are deactivated. I can see them, but can't choose them. Could you please help me with this? Thank You

Sir, I need an answer of question that in my research I am having 2 mediator and 1 moderator with 1 IV and 1 DV so kindly provide a guide o this.

Sir, do we need to put covariance in our independent variables in structural model even though in our hypothesis/conceptual model we do not correlate those?

Hello! I have a question that I have four groups in my data. I want to do multigroup mediation through Amos. CAN I do it with four groups? Or should I have to make their pairs first. Please help me in this regard. Thank you

Thank you for this excellent video!! I wonder if it is necessary to test measurement invariance before testing the structural weights? In other words, do I need to make sure that the latent variable is measuring the same thing in different groups before I explore the difference of structural weights? I would really appreciate it if you could kindly provide a guidence of this. Thank you!

As far as I know, there are no gold standards for this. Many researchers do not test MI before SEM analysis. It seems it all depends on your research questions. Meanwhile, it is always good to test for MI.

@@VahidAryadoust Thank you so much for your reply! May I ask another question that, what kind of latent variables(dependent variables or independent variables) do I need to put in the MI testing model before I test the structural weights? Thank you so much again!

Why it is showing amos will require the following pairs of variable to be uncorrelated... What should i do to overcome this..
@VahidAryadoust2 жыл бұрын
Remove the correlation between the pairs of variables.

Very helpful video . May i ask if these tests of invariance can be conducted in jasp? I saw an option there about measurement invariance?

What version of JASP are you using?

I think its jasp 0.14.00.

So is gender the moderator in this type structural equation modeling?
@VahidAryadoust2 жыл бұрын
Moderation is a different concept than invariance.

Greetings. I am conducting multigroup moderation analysis with three categorical groups using Amos. Now my question is since i need to do comparison like Pairs A:B, A:C, & B:C. Do i need to add all the three groups at once in the Model, run it and then do pairwise comparison. Or I need to run the model three times with only two groups in my Structural Model at one time (I mean i just put only two groups in the model and run it and compare and then do it similarly with other two pairs.).
@VahidAryadoust2 жыл бұрын
Run one analysis for all the groups and then make comparisons between them.
@basimhussain75202 жыл бұрын
@@VahidAryadoust it means i will have only one comparison test to know whether differences are significant or not.(in other words i don't end up having three different model comparisons for three pairs). Am i right.
