I have a set (p^0+p^1..p^6)^3 three entities would tend from this p^4 as only these cases would get p×p×p=p^4 which are (for powers) 1+2+1 or 2+2+0 or 4+0+0 or 3+1+0= 4 there are 3! occurrences for each case then there should be 24 p^4's

Sir in second question you took sum of infinite series. How do we know that |p|
@gtimeducation
@gtimeducation 6 жыл бұрын
If we consider series with finite terms also we will get the same answer. But using infinite series we can calculate faster. It doesn't matter |p| < 1 or not as we are concerned with sum of exponents. It is has nothing to do with values of p. It is up to us what value of p we choose.

Sr we can also solve this qn without introducing any dummy variable,, simply(P*0+P*1+P*2+...+P*20)*5,,where on applying sum of GP then we get (1-P*21)*5.(1-p)*-5,,, from this we have only use of uptoP*20,,so we use(1-P)*-5,,so a/Q we have to find sum of coeff of P*0+P*1+P*2+P*3+...upto P*20,,so respective coeff will be=4C0+5C1+6C2+7C3+...+24C20,,,we can replace 4C0 by 5C0,and 5C0+5C1=6C1(nCr+nCr+1=n+1Cr+1)so as continuing this last two term we will get is 24C19+24C20=25C20=25C5.If it is correct then pls rply sr🤗😊.

@gtimeducation
@gtimeducation 5 жыл бұрын
Certainly you are solving the equation x + y + z = 11 having positive integral solutions. In that case u will get the answer (11 - 1)C(3 - 1) = 10C2 = 45 using the formula (n -1)C(r - 1). But here u are also counting the cases (x, y, z) = (1, 1, 9), (2, 1, 8) etc. So, u are getting wrong answer 45. U have to consider the upper limit of the variables x, y and z as 6. So, u have to solve the equation x + y + z = 11 with 0
