In general, most FlightGear ATCs don't really care about crossing inactive runways but in real life, you do have to ask permission to cross inactive runways. An inactive runway will be considered as a top level taxiway with hold-short points. :)

Crossing runways maybe was not the most clever thing to put there. I meant in-active runways, as most ATCs really don't seem to care when you cross those. For active runways you'll indeed need permission, you're right about that.

There are a few versions of the 737 around for FlightGear that you can download. If you'd like to have a Lufthansa livery on those you can download that from FlightGear's Livery database (liveries )dot( flightgear )dot( org). Hope this helps!
