What does the heading / track button do? Is it the same as heading / gps switch in 747 eg which I’m used to for navigation? Thanks

When you talk of turns you talk of starting with rudder. But nobody does this in aviation! You start with the ailerons and you balance the ball with the rudder and you balance altitude with half stick. At no point do you talk of what you do with the stick! All of your turns are slips. You're not a pilot, from what I can tell. Or you never took a lesson.
