I once remember where my two pups were starving so I set out to find them food, sadly having to hunt because there were no elk to be seen. But my pups would starve before I managed to kill the elk. I reloaded the game to try and save my pups but they kept starving no matter what I tried so i just accepted the hard truth and never played the save file again.

I felt like I was watching that one scene from shewolf lol. but I feel it would be a little more immersive if the pack a.i sort of rushed one of your packmates if they were too far and your pack was outnumbered. the pack a.i would surround your packmate and they would be getting bit and held down from all angles from the aggresing wolves as the rest of the pack a.i that can't participate would just stand there triumphantly howling and or wagging their tail. Idk, but it would be insane to see but I love this game regardless. I can already see the goals people can make in this beautiful wolf simulation ^^

I remember the first time that I saw a KZbin video of a WolfQuest gameplay and I went immediately to my mom like, Mooooom will you buy this game for me? And she was like well try the demo first. And I proceeded to complete the demo, have her buy the game, and play it till she made me go to bed. XD and by the end of three months I had over 200 hours. I have always loved this game and I always will. You guys are doing great keep up the good work!

I remember playing the game for the first time and I was soooo excited (this was back in 2016). I got past the territory and find a mate quest, got my pups, then............ then I got to the part where you must defend your pups against anything. I really didn't understand anything about the game and I lost two pups 10 minutes apart, then I just got off and cried in my seat until my friends woke up that morning :'DDD. The ones I lost were the pups I favored most.

YES Finally another episode of multiplayer! I wanted to bring up this issue that I've had playing with other people online which is how those players copied original users names for their wolves. I've had this incident happen to me more than once when I would go online and see someone else with my name. ( I dont know if it would be a big problem for you guys) but I'm sure there are others who deal with the same situation. I like to create a stories, give very meaningful and original names to my wolves and sometimes what happens is when I go online I see them with that name and it frustrates me. There was this time when I had an argument with that user over who was the original "owner". In the end I couldn't do anything about it because she/him kept denying it. To me, to see them use my names feels wrong, like how those artists feels when they make an original art only for it to be plagiarized by someone else. I dont know if this will be fixed or handled but I hope someday in the future something could be done about this and I and many others wouldnt have to deal with this.

Yes, in Multiplayer, I think, the maximum of the stranger wolves should be 10! But maybe in Singleplayer there should be less of them. It would be not only chaotic, but harder. It'll become really hard! I accept challenges, but not that much haha! Maybe there can be from 1 to 7 stranger wolves? Well, I can't wait for multiplayer! I just have a purpose: you can lay (/sleep) in different poses and wouldn't that be nice if your mate could do the same? It would be not just more realistic, but much more fashinating! Thank you all for workin' so hard on a such AMAZING game! I appreciate all your work! WolfQuest 3 will be a perfect game... Even thought it already is.

Will there ever be collisions you can join? Will you ever add a Next Year button after raising the pups or a rendezvous level to the game? Will you add a sort of creative or adventure mode where you can create a group of wolves and assign them certain roles in their collision or pair? Would you ever make another game from the perspective of one of the different predators in the game? Keep up the good work on the game it looks amazing! Would you ever add a secret den that's like O-six's, if you don't know who that is she is the most famous wolf in the world yet(I think), she did live in Lamar Valley though. O-six is also known as 832F, she started The Lamar Canyon Pack with 755M and his brother 754M. She had 3 litters of pups with 755M. 832F's parents are 472F and 113M. 472F's parents are 21M and 42F. 21M's parents are 10M and 9F. 10M and 9F were the first alphas of the Rose Creek Pack. 21M started the Druid Pack with 40F but mated with 3 females, the alpha female, 40F, her sister, 42F, and an unrelated pack female. 40F was later killed by 42F and another wolf. After that 42F moved all 21 pups to one den and the pack of 16 raised 21 pups. And after roughly 3 years with 755M she was shot by a hunter and her daughters took over the pack. There is a book on her called American Wolf.

I have loved this since I was a kid. My grandma always got me zoo tycoon games and I would make a giant zoo full of nothing but wolves. I would release elk and stuff into the pins and watch them hunt (sounds bad when you play zoo tycoon lol) I started playing Sims too so finally I started looking into Wolf simulators and found wolf quest. Has been my favorite for a long time. My fiance and I just got a super computer so I'm excited to see it run on that thing. It boots up in a matter of seconds, nothing is ever buffering or anything.

Wow, wow, it's really scary when you have a whole pack running after you)) I recently watched a program about the Yellowstone wolf sanctuary, and it was almost the same: a pack of druids simply attacked a lone 302nd wolf and tried to tear it apart while it was running away. I very much hope that you will spawn entire packs in certain places, but to make the fight more smooth, given that in the same reserve there were a maximum of 37 wolves at the same time in one pack :D

That is so insane. I imagine how it would be in single player once the Saga is complete and you build up a pack of 10 wolfes. which is a normal number for a pack. In Yellowstone the largest pack held 23 wolfes over two years I think. Now the largest is 19 wolfes big.

I love how accurate you made this game and how much hard work you put in each small detail once this game is finished it will be truly amazing and I don't think any other animal survival game could actually emulate how actual animals survive/live like this one does. Keep it up but don't push yourselves to much you're still human! hello!! i definitely think that you should add a way for us to kinda give a warning to our mate when they’re eating, kinda like how wolves do in the wild. for example, if you we don’t want a pack member eating food, we could growl. which would make them backup for a few minutes and then try again. i think that would be super cool :))

I believe such behavior is only observed in captivity, where the alpha eats first and subordinates eat by rank. In the wild, most wolf packs will eat together, as the members of the pack are pretty much equal besides the older pups getting more privelages than the younger ones, and then they will rest together. Of course there are instances where a pack member may have been hogging the food (by laying on the carcass), and the parents would drag them off and make them wait. Or there are times when two siblings get into a brawl and the other chooses until the other sibling is done, but otherwise they eat together because they don't know when they are going to eat next. Now obviously you don't want to take food from RIGHT underneath another pack members jaws, but a carcass is usually big enough that they avoid that.

I was kinda hesitating with one question but seeing this video it only made me think about it more. The wolf species we are playing in that game is "Grey Wolf" is it? During the gameplay I am really struggling to find an actual grey/greyish/light wolf around :( Why like 90% of the wolves in the game are dark/black/brown colored? I wanted to find a light grey mate but all wolves following me looked like fully dark brown or black 'dogs'. Is it possible to rebalance this a bit? I know dark colored wolves are realistic but classic grey wolf should not be RARE. If it's going to stay like this, will it be possible to play puppy part from the start with creating your own mate, or will we be able to create some own wolves to be put rinto in-game map? To do something about being able to get that particular looking mate? Other than that I LOVE that game and me and my friend cannot wait for multiplayer to be released ^^

Yellowstone wolves are 50% gray and 50% black. WolfQuest dispersals are randomly generated so maybe you just happened to run into the darker coated ones in your particular game. We know a lot of players would enjoy playing as pups or other animals. Maybe someday?

@@WolfQuestGame Thank you for your answer :) Oh I didn't mean playing as a puppy but being able to create our mate character by ourselves, maybe after finishing both maps in single player 'story' that instead of constant starting over and chosing mates from NPCs we could start from the second part immidiatelly and create mate by ourselves. Or if anything of this, if there could be some advanced settings to the world, maybe even next to adjusting amount of certain animals on the map, being able to adjust % of darker/lighter colors of NPC wolves. So far I was constantly unlucky to have all dark ones and after some time it would be unfortunate to have to start over all the times until randomiser decides to put greyish NPCs in :/
