Models right now are very inconsistent for a late October cold wave. This was the 06z run today, at 18z this arctic blast scenario completely evaporated from the GFS model. Things like these should not really be talked about at all beyond 10-12 days. There is a very good chance this "arctic blast" (fall cooldown) will never materialize.

Last days of nice weather before the crap hits I’m not excited for the cold one bit Summer is such an amazing beautiful season it’s a shame it has to come to an end. Winter is far from being the slightest bit tolerable it’s miserably cold when you step outside you just want to stay inside where it's warm, but inside there is nothing to do. You can't relax, you can't have a nice summer barbecue, you can’t swim, you can’t hike, you can’t camp you can’t even go out for a simple walk. It’s a shame no weather to look forward to for months the next several months. Only boredom from being stuck indoors all the time life isn’t an adventure in the winter like it is in the summer!
