Multiple dead after winter storm makes for dangerous conditions

Multiple people were killed during the first major winter storm of 2025 in snow shoveling and travel-related deaths. NBC News’ Gary Grumbach describes how the storm shut down airports in Washington, D.C. and Chicago so snow could be cleared off runways.

What precautions to take? I don't know why there is not major fines to employers for making employees come to work during such terrible weather.

@@Poseidon-i4t precautions such as leaving home early and driving slowly. precautions such as calling Grandma and telling her you won't be making it to her house today and check in with her emergency contacts. These news broadcasts encourage viewers to consider driving conditions as relative to their own needs.
