NEVER EVER take advice from Tristan Paredes, he is known for being a bad vocal teacher that barely knows what he is doing. He gives out false information and praises bad technique, I wouldn't even think he's been trained for his job. Aretha's are supported (though not perfect, they don't resonate and they are so heady but she was in her 50/60s there). They have no tension and support is pretty obvious. 'Celines were flat'' you need to check your ears, they are PAINFULLY flat
