Hi. Very instructive video. Regarding to break-even that should be to zero, I increase the fixed cost to $102,000 and get break-even of 8,000 in units and $334,000 in dollars amount. Thank you for teaching.

Hello, thank you for this tutorial, it is very useful. I have a question: why do you weight the average price on the sales forecast? I don't understand the meaning of doing this. I mean: if my product's price is100$ and my sales forecast for this product is 20%, why should I consider only 20$ as my weighted avg price, as you show in the video? Shouldn't my product's price still be 100$?

Total units is based on based on break even units.

Hi plz reply (Urgent) I have calculated the break-even separately using only one product and normal BEP For example Soap Selling price = 30 Variable cost =22 Fixed Cost. = 100000 Formula used BEP = Fixed cost / (Selling price - Variable price) 10000/ (30-22) = 12500 In your video it is 1568.63 ,Plz explain why they are not the same. Forecast works with past sales data. If you don't have it then you have to calculate manually with relevant facts.

Edit: if i want to start a business that sells product A and B but i have not sold them yet. That means there is no way i can find sales in unit, right? But to find weighted average contribution margin, i need to know the sales in units of both product A and B. Because WACM = (( no. of sales of A *CM per unit of A) + ( no. of sales of B* CM per unit of B)) ÷ Total no of sales. But is there a way to find wacm with finding no. of sales? Sir, i have no mentor to explain me. Just a brief response will clear my doubt. Ty
