It's an important breakthrough for the 2.8 million people who suffer from #multiplesclerosis worldwide. A recent #study conducted in the US has found the strongest evidence yet that contracting a common virus known as #EpsteinBarr, dramatically increases a person's chances of developing the rare disease. FRANCE 24's Science Editor Julia Sieger tells us more.

I do believe my mother got mono when she was in high-school. She was diagnosed with MS a few years before she committed suicide... MS is a terrible, terrible disease. I miss my mom, and I feel like the medical world, and the doctors here failed her, as well as the American healthcare system. She could never get insurance and could barely get the help she needed. It took over 10 years for her to even be diagnosed with MS.

So sorry for your loss. Very sad. Yes the health care system is a waste of time. I came across very interesting research which I firmly believe has also been withheld from the public. There are plant foods that can fight epstein barr virus such as culatro leaves, Basil and Turmeric root etc.... But the real exciting info I got is that phenolic acids such as those found in naturally fermented vinegars are power antivirals and according to to one scientific study, epstein barr virus was blocked in a dose dependant manner with the treatment of Gallic and Ferulic Acid. Both of these are found in fruit vinegars and Oats vinegar. Gallic and Chlorogenic acid is also powerful and effectively block herpes and Hiv as well. Yes you heard me right... U can check it out yourself. Phenolic acids are some of the most powerful antioxidants out there....

She explained what MS is. She did not explain the association between MS and EBV. Another question: Why do we need to know everything about MS before developing an effective vaccine for EBV infection?! Also let’s remember it’s not all about prevention. As wonderful as prevention is and I really hope it happens as soon as possible but an effective treatment is also very important for people that are already suffering from MS.

I'm the same. I got it in the early 1990's, and have never been the same, and after 30 years they claim there has been no new research on it. I believe that without a doubt, it was created in a lab. The virus wasn't discovered until the mid 1960's. Strange, if over 90% of the population develop the virus. My liver and spleen became inflamed and I became delirious.

I had Mononucleosis when I was 13. I started developing MS symptoms when I was 37.
@SilverGrizzly
@SilverGrizzly Жыл бұрын
I had mono when I was 13 as well. I recently turned 38. I’ve had wacky neurological issues for over a decade. Here’s what has helped me: Be fanatical about your diet. No processed sugar ever. No ice cream, no cookies, no cake. Ever. If any sugar, go really light on maple syrup, honey, or agave if any at all. No chemicals in your food. Read labels. If there is a chemical on the label, don’t eat it. Eat only organic. No dairy, no soy, no gluten, no corn, no alcohol. I eat lots of meat (deer, elk, and salmon) and I do well with meat. I eat a TON of organic leafy greens. Now supplements. I take 6-8 drops of vitamin D3 daily with a meal containing fat. I take a tincture of Lomatium daily. I occasionally take a scoop of L-Glutamine powder if symptoms are bad. I take NAC daily. I take a digestive enzyme every time I eat to help me get the most out of what I eat. This morning I had a smoothie of juice from 2 Valencia oranges, blueberries, cilantro, mint, Atlantic dulse flakes, a scoop of wheatgrass juice powder, and half a lemon, peel included. All organic. Medicine at its finest. Rest when you need to, but make exercise a priority. I have been crippled with pain at times throughout the years, not even knowing how to operate my own body. And there are times when I go off on mountaineering trips in the wilderness and get the most out of my body. Last Saturday I was riddled with pain, but with the right attitude and mindset, and nutrition, I was able to climb a peak with 4000 feet of gain the following Tuesday. The point here is just to show you what is possible in the face of mysterious neurological issues resulting from the EBV. Mono laid me out for 5 weeks back in ‘98. I slept 22 hours a day and the other 2 hours I watched 2 episodes of Laverne & Shirley and 2 episodes of the Brady Bunch then back to a heavy slumber for 22 hours. Never would have guessed I would still be dealing with issues from the virus. You just have to adapt

@@bluerider9204 of course, it's possible. We'll never know. I certainly had SOME exposure to SOME virus, as we all did. That's why I wonder why Epstein-Barr is singled out. I believe Dr. Bieber, of course, but I think we're still not quite at the point where we can 100% say "no Epstein-Barr, no MS".

Proper DETOX is the only effective treatment. PROPER detox. If you detox incorrectly, it can be problematic. Look at Dr Pompa. Supplements and getting proper minerals, nutrients, and electrolytes can help ywith your symptoms in the mean time. B1 helped me tremendously with neuropathy. Also look into a non-woke functional medicine doctor. That may be a chiropractor or md or naturopath. Also consider an educated herbalist such as an acupuncturist with TCM training.

read the study if you want to understand the findings, they tracked the onset of EBV antibody in blood over the course of multiple blood draws, and that correlated with the appearance of markers for MS.

Solvents may be the real problem, since they're connected with both EBV and with MS. Avoid solvents in personal care products, like lotions and make-up-they're everywhere, really, so do the best you can. And take threonine and serine amino acids-they'll help with coordination.
