Honestly, I’m so glad that the writers decided to not go with a predictable formula of recovering one miraculous every episode. IMO, the story is a lot better this way as it makes Monarch a much more threatening villain. Having Gabriel slowly lose all of the miraculous to Ladybug and Cat Noir would just make Gabe seem pathetic.

Kagami's Mom actually was working with Gabriel for a long time. There were some hints in previous seasons. It was quite a theory that she knew his identity alongside with other people (like Chloe's mom)

A few things to take note of in this episode: 1. Ladybug and cat noir did not investigate others like kagami and Gabriel about Felix because neither of them knew Felix was actually in town and Felix was quick to make his escape without anyone noticing, as a result, the trail went cold, and with no leads, Ladybug and Cat Noir could only wait for something new to happen. 2. Although we do not yet know about Felix's motivations within this episode, it is interesting to keep in mind what Felix's mother said, she does not see him in the same light as the heroes, not because he is her son, but because there is something Felix is trying to do which she believes is justified, 3. ladybug had no other choice but to allow everyone to know Alix's identity as it would have caused an enormous amount of complications for her family to cover up her sudden and prolonged disappearance. 4.Adrien may no longer be a model, but near the end when he sees the digital avatar, he does not necessarily know how to feel about the situation since he technically got what he wanted, he is no longer a model 5. it is not very surprising to see Gabriel team up with Tomoe as it had been hinted in previous episodes that she had a much deeper connection to him than what was originally believed to be just a business alliance. 6. Cat Noir stopped to look at Wayhem because he did confuse him for Felix, after all, they wore similar clothes, but aside from this, it does feel like the show is hinting something is going to happen to Wayhem in the story.

@@candelacrush6500 nope, its not from any leaks, I havent seen any. Basically, throughout the series, many fans have been noticing Wayhem receiving a peculiar amount of attention. The staff of the show have explained to us that there are many many subtle hints throughout the series which will be brought to attention in the future and lead to various events, Wayhem being one of those bigger subtle hints as he is seen in "Glaciator", "Gorizilla". "Frozer, "Ikari Gozen", "Party Crasher", (to many to list so I'll leave it at that" . Another subtle hint in previous seasons which led to this episode was Tomoe signing a paper in "Animaestro", to signify the business alliance between Tomoe and Gabriels companies which lead to the creation of the alliance rings in "Multiplication", other hints were the car commercials, the buildings of their companies seen close to one another and her closer friendship to Gabriel depicted in "Backwarder" when she sensed his emotion and spoke more to him as friends who have known each other for years, rather than as people who are just strangers working as business partners. Something is being planned with Wayhem, we just don't know what yet.

Mmmm...while I get what you're saying, it still would have been smart to investigate people close to him. Even if they didn't directly find felix, he had a direct enough connection to monarch that he could hand him the miraculous. Meaning he is likely the closest to uncovering or outright knowing monarchs identity. That also means there might be clues & connections leading to monarch in his life. Such as visiting a person he has no reason to repeatedly, or perhaps he found evidence leading to monarchs identity that they could also find. That being said, it can be chalked up to poor judgment from lack of maturity or from a sudden dip in confidence & focus. Both monarch & ladybug get smarter this season but ladybug takes a second to catch up

The downside of using the Multiplication power is that the user shrinks in size to make clones of themselves. Monarch gets around this by gifting such power to Ikari Gozen, a Kaiju level villain whose clones retain a significantly large size and are just as destructive as the original.

In this episode Tomoe puts on five Alliance rings and gets akumatized into Matagi Gozen (A new version of her previous akumatized form Ikari Gozen) while receiving the powers of the Bee, Rooster, Mouse, Horse and Tiger Miraculouses through her Alliance rings.

In "Multiplication" Ikari Gozen is a foil to Bakerix. Because unlike him, who was determined to destroy everything modern in Paris, she wanted to do the complete opposite by getting rid of everything that is antique.

Here is another secret revealed - Tomoe Tsurugi knows the identity of the Monarch. Even in the opening you can see her symbol. Gabriel's new ally, instead of Natalie. Creation of the Alliance Rings. And then there's the post-credits scene hinting at Felix's return with Miraculous Peacock. Thanks for the response, looking forward to it :)

I was so shocked about that! Out of everyone, I never would have guessed he would partner up and share such secrets with Tomoe AND that she'd be okay with it! Like' he's akumatized her and her daughter several times! I thought she would be more honorable than that to partner up with such a villain. I would have loved to see the sales pitch he gave her to convince her to join up with and go along with his plans.

No kidding especially from telling him that his plan was a success. And in the episode where Kagami got akumintized again after Lila spread lies about Marienette to her, Tomeo even confronted Gabriel for akumintizing her daughter boy she was mad. Guess that wasn’t part of the deal they had. And that part where she destroyed his computer though ultimate rage, I was surprised she knew where the computer was despite being blind as a bat. Blind people do have a walking stick to find their way around.

Amile doesn't know that Felix stole anything, so she assumes that Ladybug and Cat Noir are wrongly accusing him, so she's hiding him from them. Ladybug and Cat Noir did check up on Felix, I believe there was a line about is, but "no sign" or something similar. They still believe that Gabriel can't be Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth/Monarch too, as he's been The Collector multiple times. Meanwhile, Adrien finally realised what a good person Marinette is. It was that moment in Risk that finally triggered it.

Gabriel can still control Adrien; Felix doesn't have any of the rings anymore. He gave Monarch the Miraculous in exchange for the single one of the Peacock because the Peacock holder is the only one that can "release Sentimonsters from existence", which he is now protected against as the holder, but also by proxy he's protecting any other Senti-being from suffering this fate, such as, for example, potentially his cousin.

Keep in mind, Gabriel has been suspected before, plus he's been akumatized several times before as well and has been around around when people have been akumatized. At this point, he's not really a suspect. I get why you think he could be a link because of Felix, but without any leads from him and without any solid evidence, Gabriel just simply doesn't look like a suspect. Still, wonderful reaction! You're about to see some shit! I personally think this is one of their more creative and fascinating seasons and you're just getting started.

I am disappointed they just gave up on the Felix lead right away simply because he wasn't home. Granted there isn't much they can do about that, but they could of followed up on that later. The guy just betrayed some superheroes and his home address is public knowledge. That is the first place they would look. Clearly he is avoiding the place to keep them from coming after him. I don't think Ladybug and Cat Noir know Felix well enough to know who he has been in contact with in Paris. For all they know he meets with other people. He clearly had to know who Shadow Moth was in order to betray them so quickly. I'm not sure if he could of found him by dumb luck otherwise. Gabriel and Adrian are the only ones they know for sure, but The Collector makes it seem like Gabriel can't be Shadow Moth.

Ladybug said there's a possibility that Felix was forced to get the miraculous by Shadow Moth, it's not like they have proof that Felix made a deal with him. Also Felix and Gabriel don't get along well so I doubt they would think both of them worked together to defeat Ladybug

Season 5 Episode 10 and 11 will still air this month on English dub, as Portugal and Spain will air the two episodes on the same day (despite US will air episode 10 earlier) and they both have dual audio with English. After that, you are free to watch episode 12, as it already has the English dub after airing on Australia. But that's has far we have the episodes in order and in English.

You know what I caught this episode? Duusu went "Where's Natalie" not "Where's Gabriel", I think Natalie is still "Technically" his holder, sure Gabriel did the verbal contract of "Duusu I renounce you" so it seems Duusu's loyalty reverted back to Natalie when he did that, since I think he took the Miraculous from her instead of her formally renouncing it. So Felix may have it but he likely doesn't have the full Loyalty of the Peacock Miraculous. Like, I bet it is still bonded to Natalie as the rightful holder.

About Gabriel being a suspect you have to keep in mind that he has been akumatized multiple times before and LB & CN have found no conclusive evidence that he is HM/SM/Monarch before either, plus LB & CN don't know if Felix was working with SM or not before he stole the miraculous so it's not outlandish for them to think that he was already in league with SM before arriving in Paris. A future episode of this season will also serve the purpose of getting all evidence off of Gabriel so there is also that.

In Felix's episode he said that he wanted to make a deal with HM. Problem is, HM-Monarch can contact anybody remotely, so as far as LB and CN know, Félix could've just gotten himself upset until SM sent an akuma.

Things may not be going exactly the way we planned but change can be a good thing. Also in Feast when the Guardians Temple she is shown listening in on the news cast so yeah there have definitely been hints

Something I like about this season is that the titles keep you waiting for what might happen, a very good idea to use the concepts of the kwamis. Personally I think this chapter is enjoyable, and it gave me more than I expected. Get ready, because in the next chapter you will see one of the most DESPERATING scenes🐭.

Destruction is eh. Should've been an Adrien, Cat Noir and Plagg episode. Jubilation is fine. Socqueline is awesome.^^ Illusion is okay. I hate Nino though. Determination. I hate it. I hate that they made Adrien fall in love with Marinette because of that SA she tried to do to him! What the frick is wrong with the show writers?! Passion is awesome because we have Plagg being angry. And Tikki being savage. And Misterbug actually getting his deserved spotlight! Same with Cat Noir. Reunion is pretty good. We actually have a better Ladybug in that episode. We also have more savage Tikki. Elation is pretty good. Although Marinette is a brat. Kwami's choice part 1 aka Transmission is pretty good. I can't say why yet. But it's good. Kwami's choice part 2 aka Deflagration is really good. Again can't say why yet. Perfection is amazing. Can't say why yet. Protection is amazing. Can't say why yet. Emotion is amazing. Can't say why yet. Pretension is amazing. Can't say why yet. Relavation is pretty good. Can't say why yet.

I really loved this episode because Adrien is starting to actually like Marinette because she helped him stood up to his dad. And I really like that he loves Marinette for real and he's starting to notice he does has feelings for Marinette not just her superhero alter ego Ladybug.

Currently there are 9 dubbed episodes out for season 5, at least on anything I could find them on, which is just two flavors of Disney. It has been a couple of months since we got a new episodes, I don't know why the hold up. I do know there are a few episodes out in other countries, but I'm waiting for the official release.

Well episodes 10, 12, 16 and 18 are out in English too. However they aired by some Australian TV network or something. We also have episodes 11, 19 and 20 out, but those are out in Portugese. Luckliy ep10 eng dub comes to Disney on the 22nd of April, and ep11 Eng dub on the 29th.

So I have a question. If episodes come out in order in the USA will you still wait for them to be on Disney+? Because episode 10 and 11 are coming in April in the USA, (and I suppose more in May and we just don't know it yet) but who know how long it'll take for them to put it on Disney+

The thing about the start of this season, especially the next couple of episodes, is that there’s a lot they leave out on purpose. It’s confusing at first but it’s meant to be pieced together eventually and it’ll make much more sense.
