I was giggling quite a bit as you hovered over the steel and kept talking about tripling output. 🤣 Also, remember the lichblade has an AoE effect, so don't equip it near anything you don't want to damage 😉

Yeah I learned that the hard way. I’m not big a fan of the lichblade anyway. I wonder if it is good for any specific mob or boss. Like the night lich?

Lichblade being my main weapon before I got the Nightfall, I killed a few too many pets in my cramped house just by accidentally whipping it out lmao. RIP B. Carry the Capybara

With tech reborn you can make an industrial grinder that turns one iron ore into 3 raw iron. You can automate it into a furnace that can smelt a stack in like seconds But this is a pretty tedious process to set up. i would say it's very mid game, and by then you can probably make farms that are more efficient

yeah. I have been through Tech Reborn before and I just chose to not go there in this pack. It's pretty grindy!

The copper golem, just hit them with right click with an axe. :) They are rusty and the axe remove the rust.

that's great! thanks for watching. Note that over the time since I recorded the earlier episodes, some things have changed in the pack. So if things seem different, it's probably that. Like you cannot pick up adult villagers any more. And the vein miner pickaxe enchantment no longer break stone, just ores. And more mods have been added along the way, like the Just Hammers mod for AOE mining. Enjoy and let me know if you have questions.

I crafted the Grinder and with Silk Touch on the Ores I grind them before I smelt them to double the output, I believe

@@jangrogames Yes, Jangro I used Tech Reborn machines w/ applied energistics storage.. I love your videos! I'm playing pretty much solo on my own server..I did set up the villagers-farm as you to get things started. I found that the machines for @Tech were the easiest as well as @Applied for my storage system. Creating the rich soil with the rotten flesh and bones I gathered seriously increased farm crops, I used to trade with villagers. I got this far in game before I found your video series, now since I found you....I crafted the Channeler ( I love it ) and I'm watching Episode #2-3 now to learn more..

I think I’m headed in a Create direction for as much of the processing as I can. Tech Reborn is a great way to go too. I’ve done a whole playthrough on that in another pack/series. verglas is needed by soulslike weaponry. it's in the questline for that mod. Crimsite is just a decorative block from Create.

How did you pick up the animals?

There's a mod in here called Carry On, which allows you to pick up mobs and villagers (just baby villagers in this pack). Shift right click on a mob with two empty hands. It also works on chests. practice on a chest since it's not moving :)

Hey! Reforging has changed since this video and uses different materials than amethyst now. This happened like a week ago. Check the starter quests for more information on reforging.

How did you have the awakened sword

You get it for free in the weapons questline! You get the sword, and the stuff to awaken it.

@@jangrogames I’m stuck on the slumbering sword and it has a 0/1 and 0% next to the quest for it to awaken. I haven’t been able to make progress on it tho

@@LiftNspirits So you have the slumbering blade? You have to get all three quests leading up to the awakened blade. You need to smelt down another unique weapon, then get both the runefused and netherfused gems before you can make the awakened blade.

Right, I have done that and put the gems into the blade too. They are all complete

is there a reason you dont just get fortune on some kind of pickaxe or tool. you can easily get 3-4 iron per block.

Because the channeler is possible to craft day 1 and depending on the ore you can get 3-4. And I like to show different modded stuff. I’ll have an enchanting table soon enough!

Hey Jangro, great vid once again! I'm curious, have you had trouble finding nikolite ore? I can't seem to find much in this modpack, even though the Revolutionary Guide says it's common at level 0-16 :(

Hey! I recall finding it fairly easily in my world. My recommendation is to get to some AoE mining as quickly as you can and go nuts. Check out the Just Hammers mod (which wasn't in the pack when I recorded this episode) to get 3x3 and 5x5 mining. I think 3x3 is pretty reachable early. As always, you'll probably find it when you aren't looking :)
