Multirotor Balancing

This is a detailed instructional video illustrating how to dynamically balance a multi-blade propeller using the Impulse 2 balancing system. Please visit our webstore at www.dynexhobby.com
A few corrections to the video:
1. The trial weight radial distance should be 140mm rather than 170mm (approx. half diameter).
2. Propeller spins in the anti-clockwise direction rather than the clockwise as stated in the video.

Will this work for small motors like 12-13mm? Also 3" triblade propellers? If so sold. I mainly build and fly light 3 inch quads. For now I've been doing the pencil lead and tape balancing for bi blade props but motor bells are another thing.

Yep will work for all sizes including 3 bladed propeller.

What’s your fastest balance speed?

No real limit based on hardware and software. The limit is based on the motor and propeller configuration as well as safety should the spinning system become unstable in the cradle. Generally balancing at low speeds is sufficient.
