Mepps and other devs have said that people don’t buy new powers enough so making another power wouldn’t make sense financially. It takes too much time and effort and it’s not worth it. So for the foreseeable future there is no plans for new powers. But mepps got let go so hopefully something happens

Just a random thought. Flight movement should be just as fast as super speed js… get tired of falling behind trying to play catch up during raids.

That's funny since Acrobatics is actually the fastest movement. When using rocket-assisted gliding, press up & down on the movement controls to move faster.

And now my positive thoughts. I like the pleasant surprise of seemingly listening to feedback on not reusing assets and actually making a new map, I like the more story focus bit like I see myself getting invested in that. The original characters eehh might not work, it'll be hard to care about.. its like another players character model just getting featured in an episode. I was hoping this next episode was going to follow the JLD story with Upside-down Man as the antagonist because that story seems cool as heck. But let's see. I'm hoping to be pleasantly satisfied

@@OsmarBRcollector2 not a dlc. They call them story arcs now so they will be smaller. They don’t have the staff or the devs to make a full dlc. It’s only been a year. Under staffed and under qualified personnel. You can’t expect it to be like it used to was.

I hope DCUO will make a DLC where the Anti Monitor attacks and is winning as it destroys the Multiverse. At the end, like the DC Animated Movies, we have to use the Miracle Machine to create a clean slate new DCUO. As it is now DCUO is too cluttered and the story is hard to follow. Which can be expected after all these years. But this way DCUO can Reboot without closing down the original...BUT...if your character decides to enter the New DCUO...that toon can't go back. Player can keep their toon name, maybe some styles, power sets, movement modes...basically things we purchased to some degree. But since New DCUO can't hold all those names...give a year for players to make that decision. Then those name would be reserved upon release of New DCUO.

That's what Final Fantasy XIV did but it took years of work by the devs while the game was basically in maintenance mode.

@@BaithNa I agree it will take some time...best for them to get started then. A lot of the coding/blueprints they already have. Upgrading to UE5 will require some tweaks. They have tons of assets and UI already set up. But building even a Base Game for the New DCUO will take some work. Its not an actual "Reboot" it's a continuation of DCUO that led to a new world. I think many new players are turned off by DCUO cause they are so far behind and there is too much to understand. I started in 2011 and stopped for a few years and even I get lost in all the new stuff.

I think they'll avoid using Batman as a major character for now and just use stock voice lines for quest giving. That's probably why they're taking a new direction with the story, Batman is very much intrinsically tied to nearly all of DC's major storylines.

Just watched the BTS, It's definitely a Blue Lantern. I realise it has the same material as the NPCs from War of the Light aswell. Only thing that's missing is the ring glow probably obscured from that angle.
