Bruh it’s in open beta meaning when the game releases in early 2024 you will keep everything you earned and have new characters maps and game modes all at the same time when it releases it won’t be just 1 or 2 new characters and maps but a whole variety of them in the complete version of the game plus all your progress remains

I think this is the best thing they could’ve announced. It gives them time to truly polish the game. And think about it this way, they will probably be announcing stuff on the way towards release. It’ll be like when we waited for Smash Ultimate to come out and we see information on characters and content. Also, it shouldn’t be surprising that they’re doing this…cause it was in BETA. Beta’s end and there’s a period of time before the game releases. Personally, can’t wait 👍🏻

Honestly I’ve been saying this forever The open beta is holding multiversus back. At least when it returns the game will actually be finished and they won’t have to worry about unrealistic deadlines for updates Maybe more players will comeback when it rereleases (Hopefully with the switch/mobile port)

The bad (Open Beta) and good news of Multiversus. I'm happy going for in 2024, i played Open Beta 2022 but now i never played because there's no character announced for season 2... I don't know. But i really happy to see Full Version of Multiversus! 🎉 Shutting down in June remembered Disney Infinity going shut down for good. I'm really sad about the end of Open Beta 💦, but the Full Version is about to come. 🌟 Hopefully wanna see new characters announce soon for full version, include playing soon on Nintendo Switch! ❤

I bought the Founder’s Pack and some skins, and I don’t feel ripped off because I still had fun using that stuff. Player1stGames just gave players the option to buy stuff that wasn’t forced upon people (The Founders pack is the only thing that felt mandatory to get imo). It’s purely cosmetic at the end of the day, and only there if you really want it

Good decision from them. I’m honestly not mad bc this gives them time to give us what we are asking for and also time to play these other games that are coming like sf6 and Tekken 8. 2024 hopefully Is their huge comeback year and in between those other games I’ll practice here and there to keep my skills sharp for their return. ya the game has been in open beta, but im pretty sure they were planning to have the open beta out the whole time until the full launch of the game hence the purchasing being available. but things didnt work out properly so they have to close the open beta severs.

​ The game could still shut down permanently for all we know. It has happened before with other games and although it has a bigger chance to come back it is still a possibility. Also, we don't even know how much content there will be or the number of people that will be back. They had all the players and hype in the beginning and all that is gone now.
