I am seriously considering Threat Level Midnight as one of the greatest films ever made. Nearly every scene in this movie amazes me which makes it super interesting to watch

It's weird how everyone, even Pam's mom whose time in Michael's life was so brief and Tony who was fired on his first day, is in this, but Erin isn't. (She isn't, right? Or did I forget something?)

So Novak wanted to do Paradigms of Human Memory? That would've been funny honestly but I always loved this one.

The continuity problem I have is that Micheal made a Threat Level Midnight joke in season 3 and it was played as if Micheal didn’t know they knew about his movie.

That thing about stats.. In my spare time I make music on KZbin. I really dont mind criticism, but when the numbers do the talking, it can get pretty bad. Terrific analysis of Threat Level Midnight.

I know you said that Micheal wasn’t looking for fame from the film but that might be what he got in the end. Due to the immense popularity of the Office, it’s entirely possible that TLM is the most viewed home movie of all time
@Mulverine6 ай бұрын
Yes! Maybe he’d find some of that fame on that universe’s KZbin

I assume the episode you reference at 17:34 called "Monkey" is a typo - should be "Money".

I would put the filming of the hostages scenes somewhere after Booze Cruise but before season 3. Michael knew about Jim's feelings for Pam and so gave Jim and Pam that moment together, because Michael is a romantic.
@GizmoBeach10 ай бұрын
The whole premise makes ZERO sense. Pam discovered Michael’s script in S-2. The gang stayed behind to have a laugh reading through it. Dwight left in a huff because his character turned out to be named Dwight (before being changed) and was especially stupid. And of course Oscar was asked to be Golden Face and Ryan was Scarn’s adjutant, not Dwight. No way in hell would the employees have agreed to be in that joke of a home movie; not even those improv classes Michael kept taking over would take a stab at it, either. Terribly written episode, poorly thought out. Must’ve been thinking of “Chubby Rain” when creating this mess.

Exactly what a chat-bot would say. Embarrassing episode and easily the worst of all of them, except The Banker clip-show, which this mess felt like. 👎
@GizmoBeach10 ай бұрын
Worst episode of the series and it’s not even close. I don’t count The Banker as an episode. 😖 Seeing past characters barely made it any more tolerable. Painful to watch and totally out of character for all involved: no way in hell would anyone but Dwight have been involved in Michael’s silly vanity project. Critical reviews praising this then or now are full of crap. S-7 is unfortunately full of forgettable episodes and cruel/nasty moments, but it also has TLM which should’ve stayed a footnote from The Client.

I bet you $1 that the fast and furious franchise makes another Nine or Ten Movies. "Coming this Summer, from the creators of Scream and Terminator 3 Rise of the machines, Comes the Critically acclaimed Best Movie of All Time! " Fast & Furious 18, Fury Never Sleeps! Coming Soon to a Theater Near You. Staring Dwight Johnson as the Rock, and Vin Diesel as a Different vin diesel also includes a cameo of the lead singer from the 80''s early 90's group "Cameo" Megan markle plays the role of an American trying to usurp the Throne through covet means, and a Violent Takeover with help from her Harry Chest of Windsor. The very word secretrocy is repugnant in a Free and open Society.

I could not disagree more. To me this episode felt like a stall tactic for the actual plot line of the show. 0/5 form me.
@osr4152 Жыл бұрын
Its a terrible episode and a great example of how this show completely lost it's way. By season 7 the show was too goofy and lacking reality. The show was unique and funniest when it was exploring what it's like to work in a mundane job with people who lack self awareness. Having all the co workers and Pam's mom appear doing dances and raps with special effects is ridiculous. By this point the characters cease to be real and relatable and have entered cliche sitcom land where the jokes are all based on them being a crazy gang of odballs hanging out and having fun.
