Very sad, my son was just diagnosed with heart failure... I'm in shock and don't know how it could happen, he's 17 years old. We don't eat alot of junk, he's not fat but he's a tall stocky kid, he survived it, and after many test his heart is not going to get better so he will need a pacemaker inserted. My families lives have changed but we take everyday step by step... he's now lost 21 kg he's 6.4 in height and his weight was quite over board but I don't that had anything to do with his heart failure. Could it be genetic? I'm just happy my son is being treated by his Cardiologist who is amazing!
