@@ells1796Just a piece of advise, with napping noises. It's ok, because the alternative is children become noise sensitive, but if they can sleep through the laundry going, dish washer, doorbell ringing, phone ringing, vacuuming, timer on oven, microwave, etc. they are in a deeper, even rem sleep. That's the good stuff and you want them to have that. Life goes on when nap time and bed time comes around......enjoy, maybe nap too.

I use a humidifier during the winter to dry my washing. Just put it by the clothes horse in an utility room or small room, and it is dry in no time. It's really inexpensive to run! You can get a cover to go over the clothes horse with the humidifier inside. It is much quicker than the heated clothes rail.

Could you talk about any differences between parenting in the UK vs the US? I'm from the UK but when I was a nanny in the US I found it such a culture shock and ended up following a lot of the American childcare standards. Since returning to the UK, I don't think most of their approaches wouldn't work in our culture and would be pretty hard to keep up when all the other parents/kids around you are doing something so different - interested on your thoughts!
@Mummysflippinhouse
@Mummysflippinhouse 3 ай бұрын
Yeah I think it’s very different. It’s a lot more relaxed here. The things I would let my kids do in the USA used to make people gasp. I also think kids are aloud to be in a lot more ‘grown up’ spaces here in the uk. That being said, some people probably prefer that in the USA. Just different cultures and how you are used to things

I use David Lloyd and it is pricey but I do love the family vibe at ours. Lots of children’s parties events on. I found the crèche great but agree when I had two ages I found it really hard to actually use it. Now they are both kids club age it works better. Our crèche is open 3 hours and we can book max 2 hours. 1 hour is definitely not enough!

not being pedantic but … a humidifier adds moisture 😳 it’s a de-humidifier that will remove the moisture. It’s a great tip and really speeds up the drying time, we had a very small utility room, put the dehumidifier and a really really small portable radiator in the center, on the lowest setting and hung the clothing on the drying racks, closed off the room over night and everything was dry and fresh by morning, we were in student accommodation with no drier 🙃 love your channel ! love watching your family grow 😊 I am a brit living in san diego 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Hi Caroline, I have the same hard water issue in the States. I use Odele clarifying shampoo and it's a huge difference. Not sure if its available in England or if your husband can pick it up in the States but I highly recommend it. Love your channel ❤

Apparently Leggo theft is the new thing. They resell them at a remarkably high rate. In the U.S as well!
