Your videos are always great fun, and I'm sure are useful for the creators of the various distributions, to see it from the perspective of an average user. In this beta OS, something as simple as adding the search icon on the start menu, as Diana pointed out, could improve usability.

You and your mom are a riot! I love it! I don't know of to many moms that love to join their kids in tech. There was a guy in Udemy teaching his mom how to code. Another advantage is, she has a fresh outside perspective of how things should work as opposed to being stuck in a tech loop.

+Philip Wesley zsnes is an emulator because it interprets SNES code to run on a different processor, whereas wine doesn't do this so it's not technically an emulator. Instead it targets the same platforms that Microsoft targets (x86 and x86_64) by just reimplementing the functions of that code through black-box testing to work with Linux.

You guys should try Deepin, either through the debian-based Deepin OS or through the Manjaro-based version with the Deepin window manager (it comes as a live DVD/USB on Manjaro, not sure about on Deepin OS). It's a really fun-looking window manager, something like KDE or Gnome, but it's from China. I think Diana would like it because it's so different than all the other distros/OSes she's tried.

Just one thing you might have missed... 10 Years ago: A Computer that is manufactured in the last 15 Years isn't gonna DIE AND EXPLODE if you just unplug it. Most HDDs have protection against that, and an SSD just doesn't care at all. You might loose any unsaved data and maybe corrupt some, if you are writing something to the disk while you unplug it, but even that is very unlikely, since many modern Filesystems keep a change log of changed files and in case of a power loss, they just restore it, at least that's what NTFS does, I don't really know about EXT4.

About the WINE and MS Office: Right now, only Office 2010 and older is supported on WINE and attempted installation of Office 2013+ will just cause an insta-crash of the installer for that Office version...

Installed Zorin 11 OS on my older desktop AMD dualcore 64Bits with SSD. Really fast and smooth. Windows cannot compare on this older hardware :) I also like the OS testing lady in this Video!

I would prefer them having an option in the settings somewhere to install wine, because having wine installed by default is a security risk, especially if you only run linux applications. Wine is one of those things that you should only install if you need a windows program or want to play windows games, not if you don't need it.
