Coastal road has a provision for Dedicated Bus Lane which will enshore public transport on this road. I have seen such Systems called BRTS in Surat and Ahmedabad. They are a success there, cheap ticket, comfortable and time bound travel.

@@eattraveltv It's a very good system. Such provisions were kept on many roads in Maharashtra, including Pune, where I live. But poor execution by the state and city administration ensured its failure (after spending huge money). Sad!

Reducing travel time by shortening roads and widening roads also saved fuel. And providing such a wide promenade allows people to go for morning walks thus improving health, quality of living besides making the city lovable and more beautiful
