All I can think of is Pengiun & Co. making a HUGE MAFIA CUT out of all this. Either Mumbai needs to be freed from Maha as a Union Territory or Maha needs to come under 100% BJP control before all this. Otherwise forget it. Ghatis are too narrow minded / parochial and totally partial to their own kind to allow for any of this. Ghatis get top ranks in 12 standard HSC exams andthen routinely fail in their careers while non-Maharashtrian Mumbaiiites are penalised and held back from succeeding. Such crony behavior should be rejected and quota system should be abolished. Gujarat is probably more progressive than Maha and should get priority from the center. The South is neglected by the center and should get more attention. The south is leading India into the future with Tech.

@@QuantumCanvas07 where to start, there are so many impediments in India. Land acquisition, politics, competing interests, lethargic bureaucracy, and generally a highly inefficient system of governance particularly the judiciary. Add to this the immaturity of our democracy or more to the point petty politics. One party starts a project new party comes in and stops it. Andhra Pradesh actually was doing a good job with the new capital but a new party came in and scrapped the whole thing even though construction had begun. Which other country is so stupid! India is crying out for new cities and better infrastructure and yet so many forces prevent development and actively prevent it. However in spite of this whenever there are strong state leaders things do get done, Uttar Pradesh has done a decent job with expressways but this is the exception since the whole system in India is rotten to its core. What we need is a complete reform of how india is governed but this will not happen for generations if ever until people realise that the system in place now will never deliver prosperity and a good life for all.
