Myself an Operation Manager with a 5 star hotels with 21 yrs experience in India and abroad knows very well what is going on in the kitchen. Believe me nothing is fresh...everything is frozen, the Gravy they make are stored in deep freezers. I recently visited Pappu Paya Soup Centre and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The Paya soup lacked flavor and was not up to the mark. The Chicken Masala we tried was a disaster; the chicken pieces were almost in a mashed state. The only somewhat decent dish was the Mutton Liver, but it wasn't enough to salvage the meal.Moreover, the ambiance of the hotel was extremely unhygienic, which further added to the unpleasant experience. I had high hopes after watching Kunal Vijaykar's show, "Khane Mein Kya Hai," but this visit has made me skeptical of such recommendations.
