Chad and Joy, the briyani we get here in the Western world is more of stir fried rice in a pan with briyani masala. As they don't make big pots of briyani with Dum technique. Authentic Briyani is made in huge quantities in big pots and has layers of rice and meat with saffron and other spices. Now you know why David Hoffman and Carlos from vlope swear by briyani in India. ❤️❤️🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️❤️🇳🇱🇳🇱❤️❤️

Same kinda vibe and set up as leopolds. I thought of going back to Mumbai but with the current covid situation i wasnt so sure, perhaps you can tell me how is the condition there.

I went for a visit 12 years later and one of the first things i did was visit leopolds....I came back and then qent back again after another 15 years.....and again my first trip was back to leopolds. Do you guys also see a difference in tase of chicken/meat from USA and India? The meat in US are mostly frozen and transported to different states, but in India the meats are really fresh since they get it from the butcher the very same day..

Since you're in Mumbai try Vinay Health Home , Charni Road, they have the best Misal Pav in India, also their fresh fruit ice cream, I know I compared their Misal Pav all over our city and state, and Badshah Cold drinks, in Crawford Market, try their Falooda, Fresh fruit ice creams, and chaat , Bhel puri, Sev Puri and Dhai bata Puri.
