Hey Mumbo, my bf and I have been watching hermitcraft all season on most of the hermits channels and we love it. Last year was the first time I’ve ever played Minecraft and I’m 27, nearly 28. I’ve learned so much through your channels and I’ll be honest, I was playing as many hour s a day as I could get away with, for a good while... But now (I’m sick and undiagnosed) I get motion sickness after playing for 5-10 minutes and so I haven’t been able to enjoy it in the last month-month and a half. So I appreciate your videos and builds and being able to watch you play. I’m about an hour and a half into this just passively watching and listening and the mom who donated made me want to tell you how much I appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Mumbo, you were wondering why you had no witches spawning in the hut during the night. The problem is that there is only 16 valid spawning spaces for a witch in the hut (at present), and thousands of valid spawning spaces around it for other mobs. The way I got around this was to build Ilmango's design (with mob griefer) with a 128 block radius spherical cut out down to y=53. My AFK spot is at y=182. (Block y=181 is the center of the radius) Many much witches were spawned and harvested. Great stream, nothing like watching someone terraform for 5 hours!

Not trying to convince you AT ALL, but about facecams on streams: some of us have brains that react unusually strongly to faces. We really like you Hermits as people, for personalities, not just for your Minecraft skills, and enjoy seeing your face and your body language. Not everybody reacts that way to faces. so quick maths on the donations: (read the bottom lines before making angry comments) The most frequent donation is 5$, but higher ones around 50$ and up to less frequent but still existing 100$ and even 200$. In a typical minute, the donation screen appears every 10 seconds, giving us 6 donations a minute. The average of that based on frequency is 5, 5, 5, 5, 10 and 20.Every 5 minutes a 50 comes through and every 10 or so minutes there is 100. (guesstimated) This gives us an average of $70 per minute. Which gives us $4,200 per hour, and $21,000 for the entire stream. My calculations could well be wrong here, so let's assume he gets $5 every 10 seconds and ignore all the bigger donations and just assume they somehow make it to average $5 per 10 seconds. This gives him $30 a minute, $1800 an hour and $9000 for the 5 hour stream. So a 5 hour workday pays $9,000 - $21,000 depending on how conservative you want to estimate. I can see why many young people want to go into streaming. OF COURSE we need to take into account a few factors: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Mumbos' fame did not come cheap, fast or easy. He has invested time, effort and money into his own brand. 2. This is the first stream in 8 years, so divided by that time, this 5 hour stream would give him a monthly salary of ~$94.

Just use Autoswitch. It's a thing of config. But Forge has still not updated to 1.13, so gl writing a mod that does not depend on forge.

@@minigamer4262 M/K Mod uses LiteLoader rather than Forge but I see that hasn't updated to 1.13 either. The Flattening has held back modding quite a bit. There are other options if someone does want to develop a new mod though. There's a new modloader called Rift. It might also be doable via datapacks which would be ideal.
