For the Mob-Infested Room you might be able to swim underneath it and replace some of the blocks of the floor with sea-lanterns from below to light the thing up, then just make the mobs despawn by going far enough away.

You could avoid the dropper sync issue by placing permanent water sources and using pistons to stop the flow when needed. This means that if it does go out of sync letting a pulse through will completely reset the water. Like so he can see

Staggner, a tree sapling can start tree farm and fairly easily we can get an iron bucket with lava and water, a furnace and the charcoal from tree farm you get stone pretty early game ☺

It doesn't matter if one has water on it and the other doesn't, because the one turns off and the other turns on they both will be able to Spawn mobs while the water is off. If anything this is better because you're continuously have mobs spawning. Unless ur doing this for an ocd type thing

Cole 19, This is a great idea! He should use hopper tracks leading into his sorting storage system, and hide the tracks in the “underwater walkways” which he said he should use for red stone tracks. Since red stone tracks go on the floor, there would be enough space for hopper tracks above the red stone lines, but not to close to them, else the red stone would lock all of the hoppers.

Best plan for more storage: There are thousands of items in your chest, my plan is to make a minecart with chest transportation so you can transfer items from that giant square mob and sugar cane farm to your giant storage system. To make it more awesome, make a rail under your ocean or sea (just what ever) then put a cyan stained glass around it and cyan concrete below the rail (to activate the rail, put redstone block below it)

About that dark corner room that's an accidental mob spawner: Leave the spawn tower turned on. Run into the room, place a light source, run out. Rinse and repeat until most of the area is relatively lit up (most blocks being at least a 5 light level will work). Fly about 200 block away, wait a few minutes for the mobs to despawn, then fly back and as quickly as possible, finish lighting up the area completely. I'm a combat-incapable coward, so this is usually how I clear out cave systems :p

Bumbo, there's a way that I think will fix the mob farm breaking. Basically on each chunk border for all of the chunks containing the mob farm, put a hopper with an item inside it pointing across the border on both sides; make sure the hopper isn't powered and that it doesn't point into a container. The hopper will check the adjacent chunk to see if it needs to have an item transferred into a slot there, loading the chunk next to it. This doesn't permanently load the farm; it will just keep it loaded until the next autosave, which happens every 45 seconds, so that all of the chunks will unload at the same time.

Hey Mumbo, a little idee about your mob infested area. You should light it about by either running through with torches or by putting sea lanterns in the floor from below. okay for the timer, why not just have a clock that outputs a 30-second long signal then when it flips outputs a second signal. do that twice, once for the top, once for the bottom, and then have a 3rd one that ping-pongs between the the first two. it means the mobs getting kicked out, and the items getting flushed, won't be able to go out of sync because they're locked to different points on a clock. I mean, for your 30 second timers it could literally just be a t-flip-flop that's flipped by a minecart, in the amount of time it takes to loop around a diamond shaped track. have the signal to start the top goes up the front, and the signal to start the bottom goes down the back, you get to maintain symmetry and your diamond shape, and it's not horrifyingly complicated because the duration of water-deployment is just kind of eyeballed.

Mumbo, why not dig underneath the mobs that are spawning in that room you want to light up and just replace the floor temporarily with sea lanterns and then place them on top afterwards so you can replace the floor properly when all the mobs despawn from there and can't spawn anymore with the light levels much higher. Hi Mumbo, to clear you accidental mob farm, you could just approach it from underneath and replace some floor blocks with sea lanterns. After a casual stroll 128 blocks from the farm, your problem is solved :)
