and the question still remains unanswered, "why did you hve to lean on a man you knew was falling" Love knows no boundaries and is limited by nothing .

Amazing song. Original. Evocative. Timeless. Haunting. Personal. Perfect for the 2011 Wuthering Heights movie. And that, a perfect movie for the same reasons.

My love for this song, the Wuthering Heights book and films cannot be immortalised in mere words

I ♡ this song & I don't think there's another song nor musical artists out there who could have done Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights" phenomena anymore befitting justice like this by far.Ig I would hv 2 say that the 2011 version of the WH movie adaptation is prolly the best 1 ever produced/filmed so far. Am I the only person who automatically thinks about a song named "Dearly Departed" by Devotchka whenever I listen 2 this one??? If you've never heard of it b4 until now or never listened 2 it b4 reading my comment now, then u definitely hv 2 listen 2 it asap right here on KZbin. It's hauntingly beautiful; no other words really come close enough 2 actually describe it besides those 2...js. Be Blessed •☆▪♡•☆▪♡

I'm diehard for the 1939 film over the other adaptations, but this song is wonderful.

Love has always been a scary feeling to have but even worse, it it is capable of detroying the heart. Is there any wonder we fear it when it comes a knocking? So fearful we are of the hurt and pain that a rejection can causes, we often conceal our true feelings. Many of us know a broken heart can last one's lifetime--and that's a long time of suffering. And how many think of us have thought, even used, jealousy to get the answer? And YIKES! How it hurts when jealousy is reciprocated! Hardly the answer came, but there was plenty of extra pain caused. Those who were used, grieved, and some likely never completely recovered, and didn't desire it either. Everybody plays the fool. But no one wants to play it again, Sam. And the two love birds whose pain caused so much hurt and tears, not only lost themselves, but also lost that most beautiful of all things called love. The precious pearl of 'real value'. Why such un-necessary ruin? Could it be, we've yet to learn that real love grows out of warm friendship? And that out of the mouth the heart speaks--so simply listen close if you want an answer to your aching insides. By the way, this song has words quite beautiful, and sang so sweetly. There's a wounded heart that wrote this awesome song. They lived through this pain..

It makes me think how all my life I've been a nobody, and nothing myself. I've often asked the question, how could anybody find strength from leaning on me? I am every word of this song. Beautifully sang with heart.

In need of some sort of responce. I've been watching all sorts of videos. Videos from scientist,dr.'s, Bible studying on things such as the giants & how in the Bible it says the end days will be such as in the days of NOAH. Just about in my suggested playlist These guys have a song in there. I do listen and feel comforted after what Ive seen. The songs arent the same either. Sometimes the titles are the same and sometimes their soooo different. Please! anybody having this happen too them also?
