This movie was one of the most extraordinary experiences that I had with cinematography. It was amazing how the director worked with picture, atmosphere, climat and sound. I was an amazing compatibility of sound and image....but still I don't know if I loved the movie, everything was so rough and real and another interesting thing is that there is no music i this film. Just this one song at the end when credits start...:)

I agree. I always say that the atmosphere and setting were one of the main characters on its own. I almost want to shut it off after the first half because everything is so painful and universally relatable. This movie was definitely a one of a kind cinematic experience that rings true nor could I ever forget.

I love watching this because i'm an English geek, Wuthering Heights is incredible and all I see is EFFFYYY everywhere. It's embarrassing. I watched Skins Series 1 when I was 13 for christ's sake, and now it's what five years later? I've moved on.. grown up. Others need to. They're ruining a classic :( I just feel sorry for Kaya.

@flopsy1997xfactor I don't have the impression it was that much longer but at the same time I was so surprised to hear music after such a slow film without music at all that it felt like it was a longer version. In any case I do hope this is just an excerpt of a longer version. If not then they need to record a new version although this is going to be hard to follow, the vocal is quite powerful and intense.

@NoName21234 Yeah, the movie was so great!! The song starts playing during the last scene as the movie is about to end and continues into the credits. It was like a cherry on top of the cake and I didn't even know it was by Mumf and sons back then. The film was really quiet with little or no music. the unknown actors were great and i loved the hand held cam in it. I was totally immersed in what was going on on screen from start to finish. One of the best movies of the year for me :)

I saw this movie yesterday. A lot of people seems to hate it because it's not faithful to the book. And I ask them.... WHO FUCKING CARES? the movie was beautiful, specially the first part when they're still in the Heights. @MrSuperTevez I didn't enjoy the book much either, mostly because the story is so dark, and I kept getting irritated at the psychology of the characters. I think the author must have been in a very special state psychologically to be able to write such a novel.
