3:45 This is actually accurate to HK's real-life manual-of-arms, it is surprisingly difficult to fully insert an MP5/G3/HK33 mag with the bolt forward with the rounds pressing on the bottom of the bolt, it can also cause malfunctions, si HK suggests the bolt be drawn back and locked every time a reload is performed to prevent this. IIRC some more modern variants do not have this issue anymore, but it still tends to be standard practice. You can actually see this detail highlighted in Ground Branch and the operator will smack the bottom of the MP5 mag during a tactical reload to assure it is correctly seated in the mag well.

I think that most of the errors are intentionnal , because they wanted to show that the gun in the game , isn't the one in real life , for example, the p90 , with the "Made In French thing"

problem with that logic is that everybody still points to that gun and say it's a P90. everyone knows what it is so it's kinda dumb to pretend it's something else. changing the receiver components to look slightly different and giving it a fake name won't change the fact that everybody and their dog still refers to it as a P90.

3:45 that method of reloading is correct. its extremely difficult to load a mag when there is a round chambered on the mp5, so the standard way to reload it is to pull back the charging handle even when there is a round chambered. the only error is that the round doesn't get ejected

The HK guns locking back on partial reloads is because it's supposedly incredibly hard to load a full mag in with the bolt forward, and according to some reports can damage the feed lips or even the bolt itself. Still weird that it doesn't eject a round though

I doubt that it'd go that far. While it is standard procedure to lock the bolt back even on partial reloads, there are people who do drills of reloads without doing that, and I don't think their MP5 is shattering in half anytime soon over it. It's just not as friendly of a gun design to lock a magazine into a loaded chamber is all.

Locking back the bolt for a partial reload on HK's roller delayed blowback designs (like the G3 and MP5) is not improper procedure. Some are still trained to do it because locking in a magazine can be very stiff when the bolt is forward and a round chambered. This isn't usually portrayed in video games. Not ejecting a round when doing so is incorrect, though, yes.

I agree. I'm sorry, but I seriously can't agree with people that say they "butchered" these weapons. I understand there's errors, and I know some are bad, but they didn't "butcher" them. If anything, look at Hunt Down the Freeman for actual butchered weapons. This is incredibly good in comparison. Again, not saying there's not any errors, and I wish they had gotten the guns fully right to appease my stupid brain, but I don't think they're "butchered" at all. For what they are, they're pretty god damn good.

Random useless info: When I was a teenager I doodled what I imagined would be my perfect firearm, and it ended up looking exactly like what magpul later made as the Magpul PDR, which already is very cool that I got as close to having my design turned real as possible, without it actually being based on my design. Since then I found myself liking 5.7 as a semi gimmicky cartridge with some real applications still. Now seeing the two combined... It's not terrible, but I think I could've lived without it. P90 was fine as it was.

What rights, people are massively overstating the legal reasons behind it, most of the weapons they could easily go with the military designations/configuration and just not have the company/retail name and not need rights in the first place. Maybe they just don't want to have anyone even attempt to sue them, but thats the norm in most games. I think most of the changes are just the devs wanting to do it design wise.

It’s not 2009 anymore, the CoD->Airsoft->Real Guns hobby pipeline is well known. By fictionalizing the shit out of the guns, they can muddy the waters and prevent people from making the connection between “cool game gun” and “thing I can actually buy”. Some dude who knows nothing about guns isn’t gonna know that an “Expedite 12” is really a Benelli M4, or that an M13 is really a SIG MCX. Every kid that grew up playing MW2 wanted an ACR, or a SCAR, the fake names mess with that. The biggest sin with these fake names though? They suck. Sound like something out of a shitty mobile game. They could have put effort into fictionalizing manufacturers and their products but didn’t.

Most firearm manufacturers probably don't want their company attached to a game like cod, considering its playerbase and the content featured in the campaigns.

M16 clone builder here, the M16A2 marking can be easily explained. In the campaign, due to the rifle being "outdated", it's used by AQ(if my memory is correct) at the beginning of the campaign. Now, virtually every AR platform part is interchangeable as long as you don't make an outright stupid mistake like using AR15 parts on an AR10. So my in-lore explanation is that due to lacking industrial capabilities and the fact that the M16 was frequently used and captured by Middle Eastern terrorist cells (the M16A2 being particularly popular even though it's arguably the worst iteration of the rifle since the government butchered Stoner's original design prior to issuing to GIs in Vietnam), it's simply a swapped lower or upper. Like I said, they're interchangeable, so it's not a big deal. Shouldn't exactly be a "flaw". Shouldn't even be mentioned. Imagine taking a SOPMOD M4A1's lower and slapping on a URG-I upper and calling it wrong. You're reaching there, but aside from that, I appreciate this video. Fuck California.

Activision acting like they are too broke to license weapon names. This game is a monstrosity. It is not modern warfare anything. The game feels most reminiscent of ghosts. You can't even view how many times you've died until the game has ended. Or check your kd ratio. The perks don't start kicking in until 6 to 8 minutes into a match. The shooting physics feel horrible. The audio for all the weapons firing sounds so thin and hollow. Like literally sounds like toy guns shooting. The nerve of them to call this a modern warfare really makes me sick

Another thing is how rounds are put straight into the chamber (on the semi auto shotgun and lever action rifle) after ejecting them and catching them during the inspect animation. When cocking the weapon another round from the tube would go into the chamber and therefore the "catched round" must be loaded into the tube. I don't know why but these small things annoy me! The game still looks great though

I think the player character physically blocks the magazine tube from feeding before ejecting the round in the chamber. With the lever action, you can clearly see they stick their fingers in the loading gate to keep the next round from chambering

@@PythonPolaris Well, I do not see that when looking at the inspect animations. If I am not completely lost, the round would already be resting on the bullet lift when he cocks the weapon, meaning there are two bullets in the receiver while putting the bullet back in the chamber

I have an AUG and when I got a hold of the in game AUG I was so annoyed. - There's a bolt release but the charging handle is still operated for most animations (HK slap is classy I guess) like that of the NATO varient. - The foregrip is part of the polymer mold for the lower receiver/stock instead of being directly attached to the barrel like it should. - The gas block is buried in the upper receiver and has a weird hump that locks it in place preventing the quick detach barrel functionality the AUG is known for. - Interestingly, the button to detach the barrel is still present above the foregrip. Really was hoping this game would have even more attention to detail than 2019 did but alas.

I feel like they also renamed the guns in this game to fit with the fictional weapon manufacturers that they’ve been setting up in the universe since mw2019 with stuff like Forge Tac and Rothwynn so they can have some more creative freedoms. Hey I loved the video! You missed a lot of stuff though. Just some things to include: the HK mp5 standard hand guard has picatinny rails screwed into the polymer handguard, The taq-m (scar 20s) has a odd fictional handguard, The scar default stock resembles more of an ACR stock, all HK iron sights have the the half shape rear sight instead of diopter sights in real life, the H&k PSG1 does not have iron sights in real life and also it’s stock in game is oddly longer than normal. Please keep making more of these videos, I really enjoy them even though all these things that are wrong about the guns in game drive me crazy. Lol

Interestingly enough. The reason why the lachmann guns are reloaded like that is due to reference material being an emergency style reload because the mag is harder to push back into the magwell when the bolt isn't held back. Still concerning because this means that the lachmann guns are so poorly built that they can't eject rounds when the bolt is cocked manually and are likely double loading.

There was a 6.5” S&W 500 which is no longer in production. But there was not rail on it, it looked closer to a S&W model 29 in its profile Also that Benelli M4 inspect doesn’t work, cycling a shell like that would chamber a new one, the operator should have put it back in the mag tube The whole M16 name mashup isn’t impossible, Larry Vickers actually has a really good episode on his 723 which was marked M16A2 even though it didn’t have the burst; it could be a full auto marked A2 lower with an A4 upper, which isn’t impossible considering that A1 receivers are still in use in some cases The stock M4 in this game is actually closer to the “M4” than the MW2019 one as it bears a resemblance to the “URGI” as opposed to a MK18 The ACR stock replacement on the SCAR is surprisingly common as Kinetic Development Group does offer an aftermarket adapter for it. The benelli reload is 100% correct, those inertia guns from benelli have a mag switch which is needed to be pressed to allow another shell to be loaded from the tube into the chamber. However that's only needed when a malfunction happens or the trigger is not released. Otherwise you can rack the bolt as many times as you want and it won't kick a shell up to be loaded

@@bigandfluffy780 but the loader is engaged at this point. You have the gun up and ready and have just cycled the gun, you would have to manually engage it before you extracted a round like that. Also the M4 super 90 as is in the game is a gas operated shotgun. Not an inertial like an M1, M2, or M3

You have to hold the button down to rack shells out or manually click it everytime you want to reload a shell into the chamber. Trust me I've worked on and shot all benelli models including the m1, m2, m3, m4, and all the high end models. They function the same bar the m3

The gun names and model alterations still don't make sense. As back in MW2019, Plenty of the guns used the real life names, The AS VAL, Notably, The AK47, Which is now just the Kastov 762. A lot of the guns made faithfully to replicate real life guns they were. So they can still use real life names and models

would like to say that the P90 could've slightly been based off the Novritsch SSR90, a P90 airsoft variant. Not to mention, the M16A3 is actually just an M16A2 converted to full auto whilst the M16A4 both had full auto variants and 3 round burst variants. The R0901 is the full auto M16A4 whilst the R0905 is the burst M16A4. They might've just forgotten to turn the "auto" engraving to "burst".

pulling the handle back for a partial reload of the mp5 is Standard practice, inserting a mag while a round is in the chamber is far to difficult and a waste of energy, especially if in combat, it is simply faster to eject the round first before inserting a mag.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but the stocks for the AK variants are a bit strange. As far as I'm aware the RPK really never came with the under-fold stock, but it is the gun to use to unlock it. I know the Yugo M72B1 has one, but that's hardly an RPK. Also, the side folding pin mount looks to be wrongly placed when the AR style buffer tube mod and the fixed wooden stock are attached.

A good chunk of the weapons in this game choose to include details from multiple firearms at once, or having alternative barrels/attachments that are pulled from different firearms such as for the Revolver having a Korth Revolvers barrel with side-rails as an option.

I honestly don't understand anything about weapons, but the first time I saw the vektor of this game I noticed at the time that everything was completely different from all the other vektors I've seen in other games, it seems like it wasn't my imagination after all
