a lot of the goofy extended magazine capacities were because of the extended mags adding 34% to the base, less than the 50% (I think) in previous titles. This was before cod games started having realistic and weapon-specific magazine options introduced in Modern Warfare, resulting in wonky capacities like the 134 rounds in the lmgs, oddly specific 27 rounds in the Five seveN, etc.

Adding more on M27 (HK416): -When picked up for the first time (or selected if placed on secondary slot in campaign/ using overkill perk in multiplayer), the player pulls the charging handle twice and it ejects one unfired round yet it doesn't affect total rounds remaining in the magazine -Amusingly, if you're equipped with fast hands perk (faster weapon swaps), the player still pulls the charging handle twice, except it's faster, so much faster that no round are ejected during that phase, somehow. Apparently the hand is faster than the feed mechanism -Equipping foregrip attachment also gives the gun unusable flashlight

16:00 the HAMR was a variant of the SCAR for the IAR program by the USMC. It was basically a SCAR-L, but it could switch from closed bolt to open bolt when overheating. It did lose to a HK416 variant, which would later be named the M27 IAR (hence the M27 designation in BO2)

Two things about KSG: After 7 shots player should change the tube selector (somewhat similar to M1216). Also this shotgun ejects shells downwards (ejector and magazines shares one opening).

One thing about the 1911 series: 100% of Colt manufactured parts are backwards compatible, that includes mags, barrels, slides, frames, etc. So the “M1911” in game is not entirely impossible The makarov and hi power mags aren’t impossible either as the “extended” option for the makarov could be an 11 round IJ-70 mag, and the Hi power did hold 10 rounds in the .40 S&W variant With the KSG, you can if you move the mag cutoff switch to the center(kind of a hack, but it works, it doesn’t block the tubes from loading, that’s fudd lore) what is incorrect is the failure to swap mag tubes

Keep in mind, mags are often not loaded to the full capacity to make the springs last longer. They are technically considered expendable, but soldiers are advised to not throw them away and treat them with care.

Black Ops 2 was a massively famous game at the time it came out with millions of people playing. It’s weird how in just 10 years it went down to almost zero in online lobbies… multiplayer games don’t stay active forever. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t buy new cods every time, it’ll just die in a year and 60 bucks wasted, I mean modern times they have seasons, and Warzone keeps the older games active. Fortnite will die eventually too but who knows when… so many lost Video Game Assets…

I remember reading something about Chinese .45 'c96' copies only holding 8 rounds in the mag? I could be wrong tho. From what I've read around there are a lot of copies of the broomhandle, some astras and bistegui hermanos copies apparently also introduced a magazine feature before Mauser did, and even made them capable of automatic fire. I believe the reason why the M14 does not have a full auto option is because in reality almost nobody uses the M14 on full auto if they are not using a bipod. Shoulder firing the M14 in full auto is very hard to control.

The JVPC was introduced originally in 2006 as the Modern Sub Machine Carbine (MSMC), though in 2014 it was renamed to the JVPC, a little while after Treyarch initially added it under it's debut name.

They called the AKS-74u an SMG because the Soviet doctrine stated that the weapon filled the "role" as one, and also other subcompact carbines during the Cold War called it that in order to differentiate from longer barreled carbines. 15:44 aftermarket SCAR-H Drum mags does exist tho kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWjJc2VjiJymeZI 16:50 most likely the ammo and power source is strapped on a backpack, you just couldn't see it. In the case of the modern day Death Machine, it's presumably can be powered without those backpack, but instead it has a battery inside the weapon.

1. Although yes, military doctrine still states that since it fires in intermediate cartridges, it should be considered as a carbine 2. The SCAR uses G8 Drum mags. Not the appropriate ones for the SCAR. Plus, FN never made any drum mags for SCAR 17S. 3. As shown in the movie the "Predator" (which most game miniguns are based on). They had to actually have a cable and have it hooked up on a generator to even fire it. A battery inside a backpack wouldn't cut it. Let alone how the hell would it even feed from the backpack.

Because I was being specific to the Soviet doctrine during the Cold War, and either way, due to its compact size, it'll most likely being considered as an SMG in order to differentiate with longer barreled carbines at the time. In modern times, it's already being considered as a Type IV Micro rifle PDW, joining under the same umbrella as other SMGs that had a similar role due to its design attributes. 2. The bottom line is that drum mags exists for SCAR-H, regardless if it's in-house or aftermarket 3. The position of the JS 9's charging handle is actually correct. You were talking about the QCW/Q 05's charging handle. The QCW/Q 05 (used by the PLA) and the JS 9 (export version) have 2 different charging handles. (By the way, the QCW and QCQ 05 are the same guns. The designation QCW is suppressed while the QCQ is the unsuppressed).

@Munancho Inc actually the hamr (heat-adapted.modular-rifle) is/ was kinda real, it was the prototype in the compitition to replace the m249 saw (but only for the marines). The Hamr is basicly a scar l (so 556), with a closed and open bolt system (closed in semi open in full), a "quickchange - heavybarrle", a special bipod, drummag and rear ironsight and yes it had the weird feature that the first few shots were faster then the rest, but not 900rpm (it was marketed as a feature for having the capability of having a fast firerate, but also having a slow one for long suppresionfire, but it wasnt reliable, somtimes only the first 3 were faster and sometimes the whole drum shot in the fast firerate. There were many reasons why the marines took the m27 iar. Now the mag they show is the wrong one (the real one is a doubledrum) the monolithic upper is diffrent to the one on the scar l and h (its much thicker and more bulky), the rearsight is wrong, the bipod is wrong / has a diffrent layout... and the speacial lower rail portion is too small, thin. And last but not least the reinforcement bars are missing from the lower.

The reason the SCAR HAMR fires faster in the initial shots is because it has a mechanism whereby it fires the first few shots in closed bolt and then fires the rest in open bolt with a lower RPM. 1. This is not a HAMR. It's literally just a SCAR 17S that was retrofitted with a HK11 Drum Mag. Note the handguard and civilian safety 2. The variable fire rate only happens when it extensively overheats. Not after just firing 7 rounds.

With the Mauser pistol in Zombies, they reduced the mag size to 8 for gameplay reasons. Same thing with the M14 having only 8 rounds in Zombies but I’m pretty sure in the Campaign it correctly has a 20 round mag. It’s not select fire but that’s again for gameplay reasons.

If I remember correctly the HAMR variable rate of fire is due to there apparently being a SCAR derived LMG being developed at the time and that variant had a system that would make it fire the first few shots it closed bolt form then transitioning to open bolt operation.

Honestly for what the game was it was more accurate than most other cods. Most of the inconsistencies come from magazine sizes. Compare that to games like cod ww2 where you have the bren shooting at like 360 RPM

Another detail about the AK platforms in BO1 and BO2, I believe all of them are on Safe instead of semi or auto. The SVD is very obvious because the character doesn't even pull the bolt all the way back on empty reloads.
