Like she said. Switching the perspective. She said and felt that way before realizing it. I am also a bit aware of it, that I am greedy. Like you are thirsty and have a cup of water, enough for you or not, however, be grateful for what you have not things you want to but can’t have. This is also referents as 1 of 7 sins. Greed- you can see that in daily life but often can’t link it with the sin.

The fact that he was smart enough to understand that her legs didn't work and decided to work around that makes me so happy. It shows even further that ableism isn't something people are born with, it's something people are taught.
@st4rdyy3 жыл бұрын

I don't think ableism is even a thing the only way someone could hate a disabled person is if they have a hateful personality and always play the victim. When you look at someone who was born without a limb do you hate them without even knowing them I don't think so. Unless your an edgy 13 year old that wants to be cool or whatever
@moka28023 жыл бұрын
@@Sic_Shawn Ableism exists, when you tell people to just get over it, when a company sees someone as a less viable option because they’re disabled, even if they’re fully qualified. Ableism isn’t just hatred towards disabled people, it’s all of these attitudes that triple our struggles.
@Sic_Shawn3 жыл бұрын
@@moka2802 I don't think you have ever heard someone say get over it also about companies imagine you are running a factory that requires heavy working, your trying to hire someone that can get the job done well and better than everyone else that applies why would you give the hard job to a person with 1 arm when the person 2 Arms can do the job twice as good and fast.
@moka28023 жыл бұрын
@@Sic_Shawn I don’t know why you decided to make a personal comment about me when you barely even know me, but you misunderstood my point anyway. Let me put it this way. Imagine if in an office job, you see someone who is able-bodied and someone disabled, and they both have the same qualifications, same everything, but the company favors the able-bodies person over the disabled person, or makes it way more difficult for the disabled person to get the job, asking them for credentials that they never asked from the able-bodied person. That’s ableism.
