Does anybody know how to play the iron thorns match up with garde as ive got a few at my locals amd dont know how to beat them. Also congratulations on the baby tricky gym. Youll be a great father.

Depends , quad thorns or future box. Future box is mucch simpler.

against quad thorns, you should aim to attack only with garde, since it's the tankiest pokemon, and you don't even need to set it up with the ability since you can just attach from hand. But if you need to set up your garde's with their ability, you have fluttermane and maybe klefki if you play it to turn off their ability for a turn and recharge energy. Munkidori is also very important if you can set it up, since it allows you to ko a damaged iron thorns after using 2 adrena brain. Besides that, you should just be aiming to set up as many kirlias as possible so you have a better chance of finding key cards like vessel for the darkness energy, enhanced hammer to remove legacy energy or turo to heal a damaged gardevoir (gardevoir will always last 3 hits as long as you heal it once with munkidori). With all of this in mind, you should be fine, worst case is that your setup isn't that fast and they end up lost city-ing your kirlias or your fluttermane/klefki, but after that you should be fine since you don't use rule box abilities to setup

@@Arcoooos double flutter also does the trick, will depend on what you are looking for, but with 2 ability locks you should be doing good
