Hi guys,
I went to Munnar for 3 days and it was a fun trip. It was my first time trying South Indian Thali, passing through endless rows of tea plantations, learning in detail about spice and much more.
Here are few extra details that might be helpful for you.
Where I stayed: munnarteacountr...
Cost of taxi from Cochin Airport to Munnar town: 3200 INR. Any distance further from Munnar town will be charged as 26 INR per km.
Every place you visit has a mandatory entry fee. Few more places/activities that you could explore apart from the ones shown in this video are adventure park, elephant safari, flower garden and waterfalls. Make sure you check with the locals about the water level before going for the waterfall. While we went, there wasn't much water.

Looks like you went there at the wrong time of the year. We've been on july 1st week, right at the begining of the monsoon... fog was hitting right at the hotel through those mountains, at higher points we literally walked in the clouds with that moisture hitting our faces, very thrilling and breathtaking views.

Why are they charging for tea tasting in Ooty it’s for free... they were lot of varieties too. I will be going there this January. It was really video quite helpful... but I would suggest you to have tried appam kadla curry. Idiappam, puttu girl. Next time any part of Kerala do try these they are just mind blowing missing uniappam 😊
