Nusrat fateh ali khan + Tari Khan = Great music. i love it when khan saab performs classical, it shows how versatile of singer he was. from classical,ghazal, qwalli,geets and even pop. thank you for sharing.

NFAK is first Tabla player and then his became singer but he learnt Tabla first as you can see He doing excellent job with "Taal" & "Lay".

Anybody who loves jazz or classical or both sure loves this. The same audience appreciation for the symmetry and improvisational stretches that few jazz masters reach, and the learned approach to the themes that classical musicians would aspire to - except in a few chamber ensembles, how many orchestras or big bands do we see playing without the lead sheets on music stands? I wonder if that is a fair assesment?

Well he is playing for Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahib and his own Ustad is in the audience. I don't think it's nervous. He has nothing to be nervous about. I think he's just serious and realizes he has to bring his A-game.

@shahh15 I don't see any indication that Tari Sahib is nervous. There's no reason for him to be. Nusratji and Tariji have performed countless times prior to this. I'm not arguing, but I'm just curious to know what gives you an indication that Tari Khan Sahib is nervous. I do agree with you though, both are maestros indefinitely.
