Oh plz.....it's been *really* difficult for the family and friends of Mallory Beach. Maggie and Alex went to the hospital the night of the boat accident only to intimidate the other young people on the boat. Their intent was to get them to accuse another young man of driving the boat when they absolutely knew their son, POS Paul, was the drunk fool driving. They never gave a damn about the death of Mallory Beach. Maggie was a nasty, arrogant narcissist who raised both Buster and Paul to believe they were above it all and could do know wrong. And Maggie's sister knew this. She knew damn well what jerks her nephews were and how Maggie / Alex has *zero* parenting skills.

@@lisalafayette Okay, sorry! Now replying to the correct response. I have heard other interviews with her, and she was not so kind in her recountance. She said that Maggie abused the Murdaugh name, and we all know this whole family terrorized their town with their privilege for far too long. Alex walking into that hospital with his fake badge (and everywhere else, barring Mallory’s family from critical sites) was absolutely disgusting and against the law. Alex got the sentence he deserved (if not more), and should never have been permitted to be above the law. Absolute miscarriage of office and authority. Everyone who has lost their lives and livelihoods due to his corruption deserves Justice and recompense (although NOTHING can bring our loved ones back). I’m at least glad that she shared that Maggie DID NOT want to go back, else we could have had a different verdict.

Definitely. Marian is so kind and humble. Even though they are extremely wealthy. I googled Marian Proctor. She and her husband are worth many millions. They sold their home for 6 million. I so appreciate her testifying on Maggie’s behalf. I know wealthy people in our area and are friends with many and most are hard working and wonderful parents. Like most of us, they started out with nothing and just worked hard. I definitely think Alex is 100% guilty. I have 2 theories- 1. He wanted sympathy to give him more time to come up with money to pay off his financial crimes. 2. Maggie was worth 5 million on her own, so he needed her money to pay off his debts. And Maggie had this sister as the executor of her will but Alex used a pen and changed it to his name, which was so obvious! Even after he used the pen, anyone could read it still said Marian Proctor.
@lisalafayette

Maggie was a narcissistic POS who allowed her sons (especially Paul) to rule and reign over others and never held him accountable for his horrible actions. Just like the situation with the boat tragedy. Maggie and Alex both came to the hospital that night with the intent to intimidate the other young people who were on the boat, tried to place the blame on another young man for driving the boat. They were horrible parents and raised a couple of monsters. All you have to do is see the documentary to find out how Alex and Maggie were not decent, nice people.

This beautiful lady is breaking my heart. You can see it in her eyes that she wishes she had never encouraged Maggie to go to Moselle that day. There is no way she could have ever predicted or known, what was going to happen when her sister got there. She's carrying a cross on her own shoulders that she doesn't deserve to bear. It's more than obvious how much she loved Maggie and Paul. Listening to her testimony about her sister and Paul gave those of us who didn't know them, some insight in to a side of them not often talked about in the media. I can't imagine losing either of my siblings or my nieces or nephews at all, let alone in such a brutally horrific way. @@tommycoyote3258 That is not evidence that he did it. It could mean so many different things like the shooter(s) revenge of the boating incident from years before .I dont think the prosecutors have a solid case so far. The motive is weak and invalid in my common sense. All the witnesses testified that Maggie & Alec had a good relationship, to the point of him 'adoring' her and his sons. The only thing they have linking him to the crime scene, is the bullets at the scene that match up to 2 of the weapons the Murdaugh's had at that property. The cell records cannot prove exactly what time the shootings occurred, and being that they were each shot from 2 different weapons suggest there may have been 2 shooters, how did he shoot them both around the same time with 2 diff weapons? It seems that Paul was the target and Maggie was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

For the record - the boat crash wasn't an ACCIDENT, it was negligent homicide. Paul was under three felony charges at the time of his death. The parents were negligent in letting him use the boat knowing he was an underage alcoholic, and Buster was negligent by 'loaning' or otherwise allowing Paul to have his ID. Paul's blood alcohol level afterwards was almost 3 times the legal limit. THAT'S NOT AN ACCIDENT MARIAN, and no amount of weeping or making excuses will change that. Alex has been enabled by a LOT of people, his family included.

Five years apart, not 7. I have 5 sisters. We are wild when we are together. We are very close, and age has never slowed us down. We are as crazy as adults as when we were teens. She will miss her precious sister. So tragic.

You have three homes, drive a Mercedes, have a maid/nanny, don't have to worry about money. I call that a lavish life, beyond being just comfortable.

5 years apart from Maggie, not 7 years as the Prosecutor erroneously stated.

Beautiful woman. So real and decent mourning her sister and sisters son. Yet so pure and deeply hurt. God bless her good soul
