When Fin is seriously injured in a shootout at the bodega, the ensuing publicity leads him to resolve a case from his past. Taking him on a wild chase to find a missing baby taken by meth dealers....
Season 6, Episode 10 'Haunted': Fin and Benson are on a stakeout, and when Fin goes into the bodega to get a cup of coffee, a couple of teenage punks stick up the cashier. Shots are flying everywhere, when the dust settles, the punks and cashier are dead, Fin is badly hurt and a young boy is saved. Fin goes into surgery, and his long lost son pays him a visit. The publicity surrounding the shooting is intense, and Fin is off the hook when surveillance video shows he only fired after the punks shot first. But a woman approaches Fin at the police station, distraught - she says Fin is responsible for her daughter's disappearance.

@ngmyvodka1013 i didnt grow up on the streets but where i lived was bad, i grew up in ireland during the peak of the IRA bombings and was in the middle of the protestant catholic violence, i was raised catholic on a protestant street, so by the time i moved away at 18, id been stabbed a dozen times, beaten almost daily, been shot twice and had boiling water poured on me. to this day i can tell from a glance if someones ready to fight, you grow up fearing for your life every day you learn very quickly how to spot danger, sometimes i can even tell how many people are standing behind me without ever looking at them edit: my friends back in ireland used to call me "walker" because both times i got shot i just walked to the hospital like it wasnt anything serious, you know you grew up in hell when being shot is nothing more than a mild inconvenience to your day

@@joewhitehead3 When she heard he was undercover she should have dropped it. His life was constantly at risk in that position and he was not to be demanded to have responsibility for her daughter. I get that she was emotional but she knew her daughter was a legal adult by that point and couldn't be forced to go home anyways. Even if a not undercover cop was present at that time the situation would have been the same. If anything her daughter would have gone to jail or been caught up in a shootout between dealer and cops. Even if both mom and daughter managed to get away the girl likely would have shoved the mom away and left again to find a new dealer, even if she did go home with the mom for a hot minute, it would likely be to just rob the mom for drug money. Getting the mom to leave as quickly as possible with that threat likely saved her life. She lost her daughter to drugs, not an undercover cop who basically saved her life.

The woman playing the mad Mom played Lana's Mom in "Boys Don't Cry." Really good actress.

Is that mom the same lady that played Barbara Jean on Criminal Minds? That episode where the woman went to prison because her husband killed a ton of woman and she got caught up in it. She also chose to die in the electric chair to protect her son who was grown and got adopted.

Yes. She was so good in that episode. I cried at the end when Gideon was watching him play the cello.

Thank goodness for the NYPD’s advance camera analysis otherwise Fin would’ve been in deep trouble.

Hey, remember when Ice-T dropped that video trash talking Soulja Boy, then he answered with that iconic response dissing Ice? U probably remember it better from the Boondocks.

Its sad when people fall victim to drugs but its their fault, Finn isnt responsible for what happened to her daughter but yeah leaving the daughter alone after she snitched wasnt smart.
