RvB Season 10 was Burnie’s masterpiece. The story he had been building for ten years. It’s not a shock that he stepped down after this because you can tell he put everything he had into it. When you’ve given a series everything you’ve got, sometimes you just realize “There’s absolutely no way I’ll ever top that.” It is, and remains to this day, one of the greatest seasons Rooster Teeth has produced. When one door closes, another opens, however, and Monty walks into the studio during production with an idea that kept him up all night. An idea for an anime about four girls, which he immediately pitched. Burnie told Monty, “If you finish production on RvB S10 you can do whatever the hell you want.” And the rest, as they say, is history....

Like I appreciate the genuine reaction of course; that's what I like to see from people doing this kind of content. But he could have paused to gather himself a little before continuing or at least tried to not talk over the video. He's not the only one trying to listen to what's going on. Plus it's not normal to see something like this to this extreme when it comes to reaction channels, so it can be off-putting to some people and may not create the best viewing experience.

Bruce Dude How dare someone be completely honest with their emotions? This is one of the things that has always drawn me to Arnold’s person and his content. He’s genuine and doesn’t hold himself back. He just lets it out despite what some people may think of him. We all know that the characters in our favorite series are “fictional”, but our emotions for them are “real”. This comment is an indication of how repressed emotionally as a society we are (Generally speaking at least).

When Allison died, Carolina lost both her parents. Her mother, literally, and her father, emotionally. He lost himself, losing the love of his life breaks him. I think Carolina, at the beginning at least, tried to help him cope. But in the end she couldn't and grew to resent the thing Church turned into.

"Thank you so much for your support." Arnold, you've earned it. Being a positive stand-up influence, being critical without being derisive, and just being infectuously fun to watch - all these things are why you have fans. Hope the YT watchers enjoy your Persona 5 run, because that was also very good fun. (Reliving some highlights with a reaction review from "BrandoDoesStuff" is also fun.) And now, time for me to watch your final reaction batch. I'll be back to fill in some lines in an hour. :) And Episode 21 is my favorite fight out of the season. Not because it's awesome, not because it's a fair fight, or that anything really shines. It's my favorite because it is the catharsis and the pinnacle of everything which has built over ten seasons for the whole Blood Gulch Crew. Episode 22 hits like a truck, and to be honest I was waiting for this. I was waiting for the realization of WHO the Director really was to Carolina. Why he was so hard on her, why she tried so hard to please him ... and why she trusted beyond reason. "Shut them all down. Lock me in." The Director goes out on his own terms, and nobody else's. He finally allows himself to . . . stop. And I'm sorry, Rooster Teeth's greatest work is yet to come for you. Not without its faults, but probably the best they've done. I'm truly looking forward to when you start Season 11. It's a bit of a throwback in tone, but it starts a trilogy which can stand right alongside 6-9 in my eyes. The next few seasons are the payoff for all the character development which has been going on subtly through the mayhem and nonsense. Be seeing you.

What's fun is the fact that the Director's reply to Hargrove a few seasons back actually predicts the ending: "These A.I., they all come from somewhere; they are all based on a person. Our Alpha, was no exception. And while the law has many penalties for the atrocities we inflict on others, there are no punishments for the terrors that we inflict on ourselves. So you send your men. They won't find themselves a fight. They'll only find an old man. An old man tired, but satisfied he did his duty. An old man weary from a mind more filled with memory, than it is with hope."

Hardest question of rvb: Who's the villain, and who's the victim? On a side note, I love arnold's reaction, especially for this season. I feel like hes one of very few, if not the only person who makes reactions of rvb feel truly emotional and understands or makes an effort to understand how the pieces fit together. I've tried to fill the void by watching other reactions to rvb while the wait between arnold's seasons, but nothing even compares. With how he reacts, I just love that we can all watch his real and deep emotions, and for me (and probably several others) it takes me back to how I reacted myself finding out each of the twists and turns for the first time. Theres nothing as incredible as realizing the story of rvb the first time. Being able to relive that through watching Arnold is such an incredible thing, and of course, his reaction to seeing it the first time is really fun too! Without getting too ramble-y, thank you for your reactions, Arnold, they really are amazing and keep my spark of love for rvb alive. "You better figure out the difference between your enemies and your friends." "Leave personal decisions to me." And Carolina goes through a similar arc as Tex, the trust, the realization, and the retaliation. The only thing that isn't reflected one to another is that Tex couldn't seem to get to. Carolina found Forgiveness. Tex was her template, her starting point for who she was going to be. It's poetic.

Ive said it before and I'll say again. "You start Red vs Blue thinking its just a silly comedy, only to realize it was all one big romantic tragedy." That final episode was such an emotional finale, I was so blown away by every reveal. I already loved the show, but this season showed me that this little internet series became one of the best written shows ever... Of all time. And then once the credits finished a girl in a red hood began her journey. Also pooor Florida..... Well anyway. Once again man I'm so happy for you to have finally made it to this point, now we have some room to breathe without having to worry about you getting spoiled on this season anymore. Watching go though this journey has been a blast, and im excited to see the future RvB reactions when they come.

I swear, RvB was like Billy Mays with the feels there. The season proper ended on pretty strong emotions, then it goes all "But wait, there's more!" and shows the aftermath of North v South as well as Carolina enterring Errera to meet York, and then it's all *"But that's not all!"* before throwing the full clip of live action Allison at him for more relentless feels tripping, and lastly it had to go *"BUT I'M STILL NOT DONE!!"* and show the Red trailer as we all saw it for the first time, bringing everything full circle for Arnold's channel. What a ride.

@TheJokerAkaCirque
@TheJokerAkaCirque 5 жыл бұрын
@@CC-of5xl People can indeed like what they like and I don't think there's anything impossible about the argument "some people liked some parts better", that's a little silly a statement. I get it if you like 11+ less. Some people only like the original Blood Gulch saga and hate everything else starting with 6 (ie hate that it turned so serious). Some people only like it after it turned serious. Some people think 8 was the last good season. Different strokes float the boats of different folks. I am personally very fond of the Chorus arc. I think a lot of its strengths are *different* (not better or worse) than that of S10, as is also the case when comparing its component seasons against each other. I might put its seasons on the same level as 10 and would definitely put them on the same level or higher than most of the pre-10 seasons.

@@TheJokerAkaCirque a perfect way to tease what is to come, and I would full-heartedly agree with you. Not BETTER better, just as you said, a very good "contender" that in my own opinion, beat this arc out just a little bit with having a little less space to go from start to finish.

@@TheJokerAkaCirque What I'll say is the objective stuff can't really be argued. Like the production itself was much bigger. As for the dramatic writing which I think is the big difference I guess that is subjective. Although I think you'd be hard pressed to find an objective person who'd pick the writing of a sequel series written by a guy right out of college over the original creator who had a decade of writing this og story under his belt. Miles did great job all things considered but I feel like the Miles stans can overhype this trilogy a bit.

Fun fact Arnold, Burnie told this story a thousand times, but in the original script, the scene where they reveal that the Mysterious Blue Freelancer is Flowers, originally that was Sarge and Project Freelancer Saga was also supposed to be a origin story of the Reds and Blues and the main reason why he never spoke in this season was because his helmet was broken and the others couldn't hear him. So in that scene the Counselor's line was: "We couldn't fix your helmet so we're going to give you this one instead." and he gives him a red helmet and then you hear Sarge's voice: "Well that's way better.". It's very interesting that Burnie was thinking about this, but I think the script changed because the story would be very confusing.
