I actually liked that he was shown to not be a misunderstood good guy like we often see in TV and movie smugglers, realistically someone in that line of work would have a bit of a gray morality to them. It makes an interesting counter to Weiss who grew up seeing the would in absolutes, only really starting to change that when she came to Beacon.

I mean if the relics are locked up and only one person can get them, why do they need to go to the effort of building schools around them. At 16:55 in this video Qrow says that the relics are locked in a chamber that can only be opened by the maiden. I'm guessing the chamber is magical so you can't just break your way in, so why even bother hiding it. Just have it out in the open, no one's gonna be opening it. Come to think of it, how would the students know to guard the relic in the first place if no one knows what it is or that it's their job to guard it...

I think the Choice Relic is *not* the one hidden in Beacon instead i think the one there is the Knowledge Relic which is why the Spring Maiden is so important. If you think about it, it _does_ make sense that the Maidens would be kept *away* from their respective Relics in case something like _this_ happened

If someone _did_ kill a Maiden it is only _natural_ that they would think the Academy they came from would be the one with the Relic and even if they _did_ know that Maiden's Relic is not there they would _still_ have to take a big risk

But it makes me wonder, do Maidens only "appear" during their respective season? Like, why did they go for the Fall Maiden's powers if they were attacking Beacon, and not for Spring straight away? What about Winter in general? I mean, I'd imagine Salem knows which Relic goes with which Maiden.

Just finished watching your reaction, and watching the chapter. I loved both. and it was so amazing watching them. I loved the way they handled the capter, shows a marked improvement on their storytelling, and the animation has improved so much in the last 2 volumes. And I wanted more too, so I feel your pain at the end of the chapter, but we got a good opening at the end, so it evens out. Just partway through your video and wanted to add this in. I am not 100% sure that the "chamber" is a chamber in the traditional sense like a room but more like a vessel that holds the relic. My personal theory is that Ozpin's Cane is the "chamber" or vessel that holds that specific relic and only the correct maiden is able to get the relic out of it.

I think Salem just wanted it found, she would deal with actually getting the relic later, which is why she wants the power of all four maidens. Or she simply doesn’t know it can only be reached by the maidens. But most likely she knows this and is why she wants the relic found and will actually take it afterwards.

Y'all say it's in a room or vault, but they only called it a "chamber". They haven't yet (to my knowledge) described the dimensions of said chamber. I think the relic is _in_ the cane, in that big crystal, to be specific. Keeping it on the move with 5 Huntsman in a small concealable object is a brilliant hiding choice.

Ok, I see how you're confused with why Illia said that Blake couldn't prove anything. All the evidence that Blake has was from Illia's scroll or encounters with her, it only incriminates Illia. Illia is saying that Blake couldn't prove anything against Corsac and Fennec because Blake only has circumstantial evidence against them and they can claim plausible deniability. Thus Blake really doesn't have any solid proof that can bring down Corsac or Fennec.

I'm gonna say...Raven HAS to have good luck if they're "Evenly Matched" . It's like Yin and Yang in a sense, because both have a balance. Imagine if Qrow and Raven are like that, but Yin is Bad Luck and Yang is Good Luck, also it's funny how Yang's name is in that 😂.

Washada Eh, probably in terms of semblances. Hand to Hand or Weapon to Weapon combat they could be vastly different in style. If we're talking semblances, they HAVE to be evenly matched. If we're talking about the intangibles of combat, then they could differentiate themselves by their style of combat.

Personally I would swap Winter and Spring around, so that it would be Winter- Knowledge and Spring- Creation I just think that would make more sense, since Spring is kind of a symbol of life and creation And Winter is more calm and peaceful, which I think soots the word knowledge more. :)
