After a little more thought, I think almost everyone in Natlan will hate Neuvillette if they find out that he is one of Sovereigns, again because of the history of Natlan and Pyro Sovereign, and if the Wyobes are created by Shade of Death or they are people from Xbalanque's times, then they will definitely not welcome him.

1:02:28 I dont think it has been implied that Phanes is the second who came. From my understanding 1- Primordial one arrives and wages war with the sovereign dragons and the dragon king(now that dragon king could be one of the seven or simply an 8th dragon of that level) 2- Primordial one created the four shades to aid him. Now the book, Sun and moon "speculates" that Primordial one may have been Phanes, a being with a crown and wings. There is no confirmation for it though. So either Phanes WAS the primordial one OR one of the four shades. So 1st descender - Primordial one or Phanes 2nd Descender - The second who came, and waged war with Celestia. The war in whcih the three moon sisters died. The war that Goddess of Flowers had to flee celestia from. The war that left the world assunder and Primordial One won the war and had to mend the land with the celestial nails. It was during that time battle the ancient Kingdoms of Sal Vindagnyr, Enkanomiya, Chasm, etc fell. Infact, a young Zhongli witnessed the "sun chariot" or the "nail" piercing the Chasm. Thus it can safely be concluded that all this happened sometime within the last 6000 years ago atleast. 3rd descender - a mystery 4th descender - us.

I've been binge-watching this whole time capsule for the past 4-5 months, and it's literally the best thing that happened to me this year. Your understanding, love and appreciation for the lore, world-building, story-telling and characters of this game are truly inspiring. And it makes me so unbelievably happy. God I hate how we’re pretty much chucking all Harbingers in Snezhnaya. They should’ve spaced them out evenly, I don’t know if Columbina will ever appear in Natlan, I’m still coping that she does (cause I’m theorizing she’s connected with the God of Death, and with the Ronova reveal in Natlan, and the ancient names being shaped like a feather [mirroring the Feather of Death artifacts], and Columbina having angel and feather designs). Right now we have yet to encounter Sandrone, Pantalone, Pulcinella, and Columbina (and the 10th Harbinger). Harbinger 5 and 9 are sure to be Snezhnaya because they’ve been criticized by Arlecchino to “remain in the comforts of [their] homeland”.

★Act 5 of Fontaine confirmed my especulation that Celestia/Heavenly Principles is a Machine/AI. I always thought that Celestia seemed both deeply connected, but also very distant to Teyvat at the same time, and the way they acted throughout history was very weird for me, especially the sudden change of how they used the Celestial Nails, and now seemingly not caring about the blatant breaking of their rules, now with Teyvat having -1 Archon. Essentially, the Heavenly Principles read Teyvat was lines of code, meaning the reason they didn't act, was because they simply read that the prophecy was fulfilled. (I have had this theory since the Inazuma patch). In my most updated form of this speculation, 500 years ago, the gods of Celestia (if there's more than one) went into hibernation, with the only acting force being the Heavenly Principles (Sustainer creation) on Teyvat*

Also reminds me of- 1. Nahidas the (avatar of the worlds knowledge structure) attack animations all being digital related 2. The narwhal becomes a triangulated mesh before dying (all geometry in games are represented as meshes) 3. World cycles / constellations- seem like loops of a simulation to train an AI 4. Data from outside the accepted types (forbidden knowledge) causes corruption of already present files (Teyvat)

1:04:14 also i feel this is before he did the narcissenkreuz ordo quest, because a lot of beings have arrived on teyvat, not all are descenders - All devouring Narwhal, Us, First who came, Second who came, Alice, etc etc.. A descender is simply a being who has the will to rival a whole world. IDK what it precisely means, but i believe it is essentially someone who is untethered by the fate of this world, and hence are an unforseen variable. Not to mention, i feel we play some role in Tsaritsa's plans. Because while the fatui definitely know about us, she still hasnt sent her elites + harbingers after us. There were 11 harbingers. She could have sent the half after the Gnosis' and other after us, but nope. Its more like, unless we butt in, they arent out for our head.

@@MurderofBirdsImpact I was actually one of those few people who did Narcissenkreuz Ordo finale before AQ Act V so some of the dialogues were different in the world quest and the World Quest Finale hints the events with the Narwaal which happen in the AQ Finale but I totally understand your perspective. Even if you wanted otherwise, doing AQ before WQ finale is better for content too and better option for content creators too. So it was fun seeing the small differences in your pov of the narcissenkreuz ordo finale quest when you streamed it.

so i watched this last night 30mins after it got uploaded. finished it and went to sleep and woke up. . . Arnold. . . you might as well be cooking my brain. XXD So i got thinking about Arnold's idea. what if the sibling is the Gnoses? let's ignore the details like formation of the Gnoses because i am sure they were made well before the Khaenri'ahn disaster and the fact that Arnold's idea may have changed since cuz this is a fun thought-experiment. If Lumine (or Aether for Lumine Mains), was the 3rd descender, maybe this would explain why she seems to only make her appearances in locations with either strong abyssal energy or intense concentration of leyline energy. Next thought came to my mind is... is this why the people of Khaenri'ah got cursed? Skirk says that the death of the 3rd descender cursed all who had a close connection to them as a by-product of their death and seemingly not because they wanted to curse them really. Which segways into the Melusine world quest about the end of teyvat, she says she sees paimon with a string attached to the heavens and traveler as a monster that could destroy the world with one bite. Now this might sound wrong as a pun but if traveler BIT the dust, all his friends and people he knew the world over would get cursed. edit: Yae Miko knew! that sly fox knew and Hoyo been playing the long game since 2.1! Miko figured we're worth more than a Gnosis because we are essentially a complete one albeit still lacking some elements. And she knew how to freaking use the traveler like a green lantern battery to awaken "powered-down" visions!

Spoilers for Act 2 of Natlan's Archon Quest... Technically speaking, we learn in Act 2 of Natlan's Archon Quest that this isn't Mavuika's first time as the Pyro Archon, and that she essentially "time traveled" in order to see her plan to completion. She was around during and before the cataclysm 500 years ago, while Nahida was born in the aftermath. This would technically make Nahida the youngest of the currently active Archons, as she was born after Mavuika.

So.... Focalor already know that she needs to revoke the archon status and give the right back to Sovereign (Neuvi), They have the power that can be a "loophole" of the Prophecy. but Neuvi heart is cold because we know Sovereign condemned the Archon and the people. So by giving the status as Iudex , Chief of the Court, and a 500 Years time is part of the process to melt Neuvi's heart to feel what humans feel. In the end, Neuvi's heart now sympathise with Fontainian people, like what Neuvi said before Focalors execution: "surely i cant never again declare them to be guilty". So... Focalors can actually just immediately give back the rights of the Sovereign back to Neuvi, but if Neuvi heart is still cold like 500 years before, Neuvi will still get the power of the Sovereign back but Neuvi will not forgive Egeria-Focalors and Fontainian people, and by that means, while Neuvi can give "true blood" to fontainian, Neuvi still doesnt want to do that because of him hating the Fontainian. so yeah the 500 years time has multiple function: - Indemnitium power accumulation in the Oratrice as the Focalors's Guillotine - Melting Neuvi's heart to make sure him forgiving fontainians Focalors are devious indeed~

Probably because Neuvillette is classified as one of the ancient dragons from the ancient dragon civilization of the past, whereas the Saurians are moreso categorized as the present-day dragons of the nation. I feel there's too much bad blood and history with ancient dragons and humans of the past where Neuvillette might attract the wrong kind of attention if his identity was revealed there.

@@MurderofBirdsImpact Not only that, but I imagine that the Wayob's themselves would feel Neuvillette's presence and would not welcome him to the nation, sending not only enemies but even past warriors (since the Wayob's system was probably created by Xbalanque with the help of someone, just as they have the memories of ancient warriors and are practically a joint consciousness of the great warriors, having access to memories of the time of the dragons). And I think that not only the Saurians but also the people of Natlan would not like him if they knew that he was a sovereign dragon (because of the whole history of hatred of the people towards the only sovereign they had contact with).

what you said about Phanes not being the Heavenly Principles I also thought. I was under the impression the Second Who Came won over Phanes and established their rule. Honestly I don’t even know anymore lol, it still is a book so even though it’s like the only source for Teyvat’s origin I try to take it with a grain of salt since it’s still influenced by Irminsul. it’s been 3 years at this point and we’ve learned nothing else about the identity of the Second Who Came. and now they added a third 😭

You know after rewatching the talk with Neuvillete about the Gnosis and Decenders, i got a suspiscion that Fatui might actually not get the Natlan Gnosis because of something happening to it in act 5, and we as the 4th Decender will become the only opportunity for Tsaritsa plan to succeed assuming that Traveler can "play the role" of the Gnosis and this will be one of the main things when we will come to Snezhnaya, i think that because Fatui getting all the Gnosies all the time got a little dull, and it will be not only an interesting direction but also a fresh one, i mean its the last Gnosis they need and it will make sence for things to not go as planned storytelling wise. Also imagine if the Traveler somehow consumes the Gnosis in the end to save everyone and then will get Pyro power and will actually be good. At this point with all the lore drops we have i dont even think its crack to think in that direction, especially because they holding Pyro traveler for now, it makes sence in terms of significanse i guess, just my thoughts tho, appreciate the video and all the work with editing < 3

The lore, the lore was amazing I still think your theory about the pyro archon can be true in a way after playing the first two acts of Natlan AQ, but I also think Capitano isn’t going to take the gnosis. Not that he would lose, I just don’t think he would take it for some reason, idk maybe honor or sth cuz it would be weird story wise if the Fatui have all 7 and then wait like 6 patches to use them

59:40 No, the power stolen from the sovereigns were repurposed as the divine thrones for the archons meanwhile the remains of the 3rd descender was repurposed as a gnosis probably the 3rd descender was similar to lumine and aether who have a very high compatibility with the elements or very powerful with those that celestia use their remains to harvest those powers and turns into the gnosis

3rd descender might be Nibelung assuming that Skirk sense something similar power from from Neuvillete being a sovereign, Nibelung also had once traverse the outside of the world to bring the forbidden knowledge against the heavenly principles

It still bothers me how the mirror in Caribert's quest shattered the image of our twin in SEVEN pieces. personally i believe the theory that Nibelung was the third descender, which would explain why the gnosis can use/steal the dragons authority. i also believe that the Tsaritsa's goal is to resurrect Nibelung using the gnosis and destroy Celestia

No, Natlan won't take a year to get to. Perhaps a few months (we're aiming for the Spring), but we'll be editing Natlan content in November/December! We're a lot closer to being caught up with editing than what's currently being uploaded, so we should be posting Genshin videos on a daily or every other day basis in our goal of inevitably being caught up BEFORE Snezhnaya releases. Until then, we have the rest of 4.2-4.8 content lined up for you guys to check out!

yes it was a great quest, but im really confused about the third decender, the gnosis is the dragons power that was taken away and given to the archons and yet somehow a decender was there before the dragon that was killed.

This is what I think and I apologise i don't have any source but 1st Descender : The Primordial one maybe Phanes who waged war with Sovereigns. If not a proper war then a kind of contract to let humans be born and live in Teyvat. 2nd Descender : Someone from and with the power of the abyss and for whatever reason they arrived they had conflict with Celestia which belonged to Primordial one. Heck what if its Nibelung who brought the power from the abyss to challenge the Celestia again because of their old war. And he lost again and was just sealed along with abyssal power. The third Descender, I don't know but they are dead and now their remains are Gnosis which were given to Archons The fourth Descender obviously us. What if Khanriea'h was trying to ressurect 2nd Descender for power because of their own hate against Celestia who destroyed their nation and in doing so, so much abyssal energy released and cursed their people along with it came forbidden knowledge.

Childes verdict actually makes no sense when you think about it. There is no way Focalor would know of his connection with the whale(but celestia doesnt).He also doesnt need to be in the prison to be teleported to the narvhal

Why you guys didn't think about the fact that if tsaritsa will use 7 gnoses together she may be able to go back in past or wake the third descender for some reason (maybe because that descender is not actually descender but a dragon or "second who came"? I think that TSWC is going to be the 2nd descender, since in the entire story the only thing that came from outside Teyvat after the primordial was the second that came from beyond the heavens, and who faced the PO (which would already give him not only the strength but also the will to change and break the laws of the world).

@@hinomi107 very good theory 👏👏👏btw don't forget that they said heavenly principles have created these gnosis after the 3rd died, but what makes me more interested is the form of gnosis, it's chess peaces. Imagine the whole celestia castle is a big, giant chess or smth. Also I connect the chess board in teaser where Jaster (if am not mistaken) was playing a chess game. Also what if the 3rd descender was traveler but everything started again, like time has changed and now everything is also changed so they(fatui) want to wake traveler and it's old strength he once hold or maybe it's not about traveler but about his twin sister.

I feel like MurderofBirds somehow misunderstood the purpose of the Dragons’ Authority at this time; those are tied to the Divine Thrones of Celestia, not the Gnosis. The Thrones are the captured Dragons’ Authority.

Just to make it clear (and someone can correct me if I am wrong), but the Primordial one stole the dragons authority before the Gnoses came into existence. Up to this point, in my opinion at least, the Gnosis were merely proof of the Archons connection to Celestia. But not having the Gnoses the Archons didn't have that connection anymore. They had nothing to do with the authority over the elements. Like I said, I could be wrong. Side Note- Of, MoB, remember that Nahida told use that the Abyssal twin wasn't a descender.

I didn’t forget what Nahida said, but you also have to remember, Nahida also said that Descenders were beings not from this world, but the NZKZ Ordo world quest proved that wasn’t true since a descender is defined as someone with a will that can rival an entire world in the form of creating, destroying, sustaining, or protecting a world. That immediately confirms that Nahida doesn’t know the whole story of our sibling, similar to how Irminsul doesn’t give her full records or that Nahida didn’t even know about the False Sky until Dottore told her. My assumption of Lumine being a descender is because if your will becomes shaken or changes over time, perhaps you can fall out of descender status. But yes, I didn’t need the reminder, I was just thinking beyond what Nahida said because her knowledge wasn’t exactly true.

@@MurderofBirdsImpact Oh btw, you commented on if the Archons knew. Well they all have lines about Furina, and there are videos of them. I don't have any other archons so I don't know what they say. But I can mention that in this year's Lantern rite, there was an interesting scene. I recommend watching the Epilogue to it. I won't spoil it (and it is separated from the main story of that year's lantern rite), but I think you'd enjoy it hehe.
