The prices weren't bad on most stuff. I just wish they had a broader power tool selection. It's pretty much DeWalt or nothing. But you are right, they pretty much have it all. In fact we are going back today.

I'm mostly from the Midwest but was living in the SF area when I sort of married into Livingston. My wife's father is from there. And since then we have been back pretty much every year for the past ten years. We stay up to a month at a time and at this point it feels like my other home town. It reminds me of living back home in the midwest and it re-centers me every time we get back here.

My former boss's husband swore by murdoch's... I'm from the east coast and never got the appeal of it when I lived in the foodprint of the stores. But I would kill to have something like that now.

That Jet bandsaw was primitive especially for jet brand and at that price. They seemed overstocked on a lot of things too. Like all the power tools and chain saws. Interesting store though.

Well. It's gonna take me a day or two to get over my envy. Even my Rural King can't touch these guys. But after awhile I'll weigh Montana in January versus Florida the same month and I'll feel better. Those Rhino safes have a real steam punk feel to their design.

I wish there was one near me. Been looking at Swisher pull behind mowers and their sale price for the 14.5 HP 60" Electric Start Finish Cut Trail Mower is almost 40% off Amazon, 20% off of Farm and Fleet about $400, $500 cheaper than Rural King, and Tractor supply does not even carry the 60" or larger. Not to mention all the name brand tools in that store was impressive.
